ALADIN & ARIEL IN "ONCE UPON A TIME"! MACKENZIE CROOK, TARA FITZGERALD JOIN "GAME OF THRONES"! DOMINIC COOPER, DAN STEVENS, EMILY BROWNING IN "SUMMER IN FEBRUARY"! TRAILER FOR "COMES A BRIGHT DAY" WITH KEVIN MCKIDD!

If you like British films, you might like SUMMER IN FEBRUARY, which will be released later this year with a rather nice young cast including Dominic
Cooper, Emily Browning and Dan Stevens. The Newlyn School of artists flourished at the beginning of the 20th Century and the film focuses on the wild and bohemian Lamorna Group, which included Alfred Munnings and Laura and Harold Knight. The incendiary anti-Modernist Munnings, now regarded as one of Britain's most sought-after artists, is at the centre of the complex love triangle, involving aspiring artist Florence Carter-Wood and Gilbert Evans, the land agent in charge of the Lamorna Valley estate. True - and deeply moving - the story is played out against the timeless beauty of the Cornish coast, in the approaching shadow of The Great War.

TELEVISION HEADLINES
In TV news today, you might get excited about LOST co-creator Damon Lindelof's new project: titled THE LEFTOVERS, and based on a novel by Tom Perrotta, the HBO show will follow a group of
people who are left behind after the Rapture occurs, with millions vanishing from Earth. Lindelof recently worked on huge sf projects PROMETHEUS, STAR TREK 2 and WORLD WAR Z. Meanwhile, GAME OF THRONES season three has apparently added two new names into the cast: Mackenzie Crook will play a sadistic mercenary Vargo Hoat, nicknamed "The Goat", while Tara Fitzgerald will play Selyse Florent, the wife of Stannis Baratheon. And it has been officially revealed that the second season of super popular fantasy show ONCE UPON A TIME will feature Aladin, his enemy Jafar and Little Mermaid Ariel!

COMES A BRIGHT DAY
Speaking of British films, today you can check out the trailer for romantic thriller COMES A BRIGHT DAY an interesting film set during the armed robbery of one of London's most exclusive jewellers.
Sometimes funny, often dark, always captivating and never what you expect. The cast includes gorgeous Imogen Poots, whom you remember as Michael Fassbender's love interest in CENTURION and
from 28 DAYS LATER, Scottish hunk Kevin McKidd, from ROME and GREY'S ANATOMY, one of Hollywood Spy's dear Twitting friends Josef Altin from GAME OF THRONES, and Craig Roberts.

Always good to hear some more news about Game of Thrones, Dezz, thank you!! I'm beginning to go through withdrawals.

    2. Pfftt still looks better with two D's instead of one.

    3. pfft, why would we write two Ds when only one is pronounced, cat? You should use Serbian as a good example, it's phonetical language, which means everything is pronounced as it is written and vice versa :)

  7. Hubba hubba...the Prince Charming hunk from Once Upon A Time is all I need for an entire season. Please...spare the rest. Just put him shirtless in every scene.

  10. The Leftovers I'm hoping is a spoof. I hate the whole Rapture thing. It sounds ridiculous.

Can't wait for more Once Upon A Time, but it's hilarious that Disney is mining it's own fairytale vault for material. Jafar is strictly s Disney creation for the cartoon.

  12. Summer In February looks enchanting. A movie about a time out of place that has that special "this will never come again" feeling to it. I will like this one very much.

I just can't watch these post-Rapture shows so The Leftovers will be left off my to-watch list.

Comes A Bright Day looks interesting in a "different" sort of way. Quirky and yes dark as you say, but worth the watch I believe. Imogene is of course a beauty and I love to watch Timothy Spall work. He's had some great roles (NOT the Harry Plodder movies) and the man really loves to work. I keep forgetting just how many friends you have darling. Josef and Craig both in one film, do dish with us on this dear.

    1. yes, I adore films set in Irish or British seaside, especially in Autumn. Would love to experience that myself once.... that climate is something that suits me.

Jo Altin is a naughty boy actually. He promised me an interview, and forgot about it, and I have other two interviews waiting with BORGIAS and SPARTACUS actors, but sometimes the interviews never happen due to actors' busy schedules.
