Five years ago, a tear in the fabric of reality brought creatures to our world from an alternate dimension bent on our destruction. Luke Evans plays a father who hides his daughter on an island to keep her safe, while he prepares her for survival and the battles to come. The movie will hit the cinemas next March

 THE BREADWINNER which will mark his big screen acting debut out March 13th. Moore plays Nate’s supermom wife, Katie, who lands a deal on Shark Tank. The catch? It requires her to set out on an extended business trip — and leave her husband in charge. Subsequently, the lifelong breadwinner of the family becomes a stay-at-home dad and quickly realizes he’s in way over his head. Bargatze also wrote the script for this movie that will see Stella Grace Fitzgerald, Birdie Borria and Charlotte Ann Tucker star as their daughters. Eric Appel is directing. The discovery sends shockwaves through the community, reviving the ghost of an unsolved cold case that rocked the town three years prior – the disappear- ance of Jackie’s niece, Nessa, which cost her career. Cefin’s death summons Jackie’s former partner, Detective Eric Bull (Rafe Spall), back to Morfa Halen to lead the investigation into a community he failed once before. Convinced the cases are linked, Jackie and  Bull must reconcile and race to uncover long-buried secrets inside Morfa, before the storm breaks and all the evidence is gone for good. The local cop, on the other hand, has never solved a serious crime in his life, so the sheep conclude they will have to solve it themselves, even if it means leaving their meadow for the first time and facing the fact that the human world isn't as simple as it appears in books.

It is not actually coming out to cinemas anytime soon with the premiere scheduled for November 6th next year, but we already have the first trailer and poster with KJ Apa in the lead role in James Stewart biopic JIMMY which also includes Jason Alexander as Louis B. Mayer, Max Casella as Frank Capra, Sarah Drew as Hedda Hopper, Julian Works as Second Lieutenant Martinez, and Jen Lilley as Stewart’s wife Gloria while Neal McDonough stars as Stewart’s father. The movie chronicles Pennsylvania-native Stewart’s rise in Hollywood, including winning an Academy Award for his work in “The Philadelphia Story,” before enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a combat pilot at the beginning of World War II and he flew 20 missions over Europe, rising to the rank of colonel, only to return home broken and disheartened. Not long after his return home, he starred in Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” in 1946.

With the title changed into GIRL TAKEN it will follow twin sisters Lily and Abby (Talalah and Delphie Evans), whose lives are shattered when Lily is abducted from their quiet rural English town by beloved local teacher Rick Hansen (Alfie Allen). After years of abuse in captivity, Lily escapes only to discover that freedom brings its own challenges. The world she longed to return to has moved on without her. As Abby, Lily and their mother Eve (Jill Halfpenny) struggle to rebuild their family, they must confront the lasting damage and the terrifying reality that Rick is still out there, determined to control the narrative and evade justice. People, including An Na and Hee Jo struggle to survive in their apartment building, which is sinking into the water. An Na is an AI development researcher and Hee Jo belongs to a human resource security team, who is trying to save An Na from the disaster. But why is Hee Jo trying to save An Na and who is behind it?

Set against the backdrop of revolutionary uprisings in France, it follows the character of Jean Valjean, a peasant sentenced to five years’ hard labour for stealing a loaf of bread whose story spans several years as he is released from prison and reintegrated into society, yet pursued by a police inspector on his trail. Vincent Lindon plays Jean Valjean, with Tahar Rahim as his nemesis Inspector Javert. Benjamin Lavernhe and Camille Cottin are evil innkeepers Thénardier and Madame Thénardier. Noemie Merlant plays the tragic figure of Fantine, whose daughter, Cosette, Valjean takes in as his own. It will arrive November 2026.

Swiss Studios, the producers of Davos 1917 and Stella, has prepared  BLACK GOLD, a six episode historical series, from Justin Koch and Matthias Greving, which will be set in 1900 in a small village on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath in North Germany, where the poor farming family Lambert is cheated by the large scale farming family Pape of the oil  deposits discovered under their fields. When the oil rush takes hold of the village and threatens to destroy the farming community forever, the women of  the Lamberts fight for justice and win their independence. This led the hardworking village population being torn between progress, environmental destruction and survival. Gwendoline Christie and Marton Csokas play English prospectors Emma and Tyler Robertson, who come to a quiet village near Lüneburg Heath after oil fields are discovered. Tom Wlaschiha is also in the cast and so are Aaron Hilmer, Harriet Herbig-Matten, Henny Reents and Hans Zimmer, the Oscar winner is scoring the music. It will air on German ARD from December 22nd. Laura Haddock and Richard Rankin will also star! There’s a Prime Minister in the attic, a coffee bar in the basement, and a wallpapered labyrinth of romance, crisis and heartbreak in-between. Set in the only terrace house in history with mice and a nuclear deterrent, it’s the only knock-through in the world where a hangover can start a war. The government will be fictional and unspecific, but the problems will be real. We’ll never know which party is in power, because once the whole world hits the fan it barely matters.

Jessica Goldberg will be the executive producer and show runner of the series being described as a soapy and scandalous drama that uncovers the secrets and class struggles of a wealthy suburb; where a torrid love affair between a ‘have’ Mom and ‘have-not’ single Dad threatens to expose the sins and lies of all of those around them.
