I've never liked Robinhood. I doubt this would be for me.
ReplyDeleteThen one to avoid for you.
DeleteHow many versions of Robin Hood out there? Haven't watched any of them...
ReplyDeleteThere was a bad one almost two decades ago and a few films.
DeleteCould be good. Depends on if it is different enough to be interesting but doesn't alienate fans of the original story.
ReplyDeleteGiven that it is MGM Plus it will probably be cheapass like their Winter King which was unwatchable, but I will give it a go since it is shooting here in my neck of the woods.
DeleteIt seems like Serbia sees a lot of filming there. Do you ever have any sets close to you?
ReplyDeleteYou remember that I once broke into the set with Adrian Brody and Rachel Weisz in my city LOL One of the streets in the city was closed two weeks ago for a day due to some shooting, not sure if it was our production or foreign.
DeleteThat is so neat that they film some things close to your home. We've had a few things filmed here, but it's mostly around Notre Dame college, which is about 10 minutes from my house, since they have a beautiful stadium. Nothing where they close down streets or anything though.
DeleteIt is because my city has all those century old palaces so it can replace any historical city if the film is set in late 19th or early 20th century, recently the city played Havana for some film LOL A few years ago there was a Serbian detective series at Cannes Film Festival shot and set entirely in Subotica.
