Therewere a couple of gay themed movies at Cannes this year, among them was THE HISTORY OF SOUND with gay icons Josh O'Connor and Paul Mescal as two young men during World War
I who set out to record the lives, voices and music of their American
countrymen. First trailer has been released for the drama that is out this September. In this snatched, short-lived moment in their young lives,
and while discovering the epic sweep of the U.S., both men are deeply changed. This historical romantic drama film, directed by Oliver Hermanus is based on the short story of the same name by Ben Shattuck. Some critics have called it moving and tasteful in the reviews from Cannes.
