Channel 4 has announced cast for their comic thriller mini TV series WRONG MOVE which will be led by Rory Kinnear, Eleanor Tomlinson, Eva Myles, David Thewlis, David Bradley, in the story that follows complicated lives of the people trying to take the next steps up the property ladder, and the misguided notion that moving house can fix everything. The plot follows three couples who are tied in a property-buying chain, only for the person at the top to pull out the night before the deals are done, causing chaos for those lower down.

ITV is ready to launch their new thriller series GONE Sunday March 8th. Set against the backdrop of a prestigious private school, a foreboding forest and the quiet sprawl of Bristol, a chilling mystery focusing on local Headmaster Michael Polly (David Morrissey), who becomes the prime suspect in his wife Sarah’s disappearance. An upstanding member of the community, Michael Polly is inscrutable and likes order and precision in his working life. Until, that is, he encounters super bright, gutsy Detective Annie Cassidy (Eve Myles), and a compulsive game of cat and mouse begins as she chips away at his veneer in search of the truth. With tension in the air, yet Polly not displaying any emotion, Annie’s suspicions are heightened the more she investigates. Something in her gut tells her all is not what it seems. Could he be capable of murder? And if so – why? Beneath the surface of the mystery, lies a deeper exploration of trauma, trust and the legacy of elite institutions. Gone also stars Jennifer Macbeth, Arthur Hughes, Nicholas Nunn, Elliot Cowan, Billy Barrett, Rupert Evans, Jodie McNee, Oscar Batterham and Clare Higgins.

 THE STORY SET IN 

 fictional Scottish village of Coldwater, sees Lincoln playing John, a repressed, depressed man who is shocked to find himself in middle age, secretly raging at his life as a stay-at-home dad. When his failure to intervene in a violent confrontation in a playground brings his identity crisis to a head, John ups and moves his family to the rural idyll of Coldwater, as far away from London as possible. Upon arrival, John is quickly befriended by his charming, confident next-door neighbour Tommy (Ewen Bremner), a devoted husband to the local vicar Rebecca (Eve Myles). He is a man of faith, a pillar of the community and self-appointed leader of the village’s all-male book group. John is both impressed and  fascinated by Tommy. His wife Fiona (Indira Varma) despises him. Fiona saw the move to Coldwater as an opportunity to leave the past behind them and reignite the spark in their fading marriage. When her husband’s relationship with their enigmatic new neighbour becomes increasingly intense, Fiona’s suspicions are aroused. She is unconvinced Tommy is all he seems to be. When John’s long-repressed rage comes to a head with disastrous results, he soon finds himself unexpectedly indebted to his new friend, unaware that Tommy himself is harbouring horrifying secrets. It’s only after a series of unsettling incidents start to occur that John begins to wonder who the real Tommy actually is. It will air on Showtime in USA next year.

BBC has released a trailer for their new four part thriller series THE GUEST an addictive story that centres on the toxic and beguiling relationship between a successful business owner, Fran (Eve Myles), and her employee, Ria (Gabrielle Creevy) who has never had the opportunity to think about what she might actually want from the world. So, when she starts cleaning for Fran, she’s intoxicated by this confident woman who encourages her to take control of her life and, when Ria flourishes, an intense friendship is forged. However, when Fran’s advice leads to a shocking event, the lives of these two very different women become intertwined by shared secrets and dangerous plots. What follows is a compelling and manipulative game of cat-and-mouse. But just who is playing who? Sion Daniel Young, Emun Elliott, Julian Lewis Jones, Joseph Ollman, Clive Russell and Catherine Ayers also star. The series will start on BBC One Monday evening September 1st! She is unconvinced Tommy is all he seems to be.  Eve Myles will also star in the new drama.
