LIAM HEMSWORTH IS "FALLEN" ANGEL. MILLA JOVOVICH IN COSTUME IN "THE THREE MUSKETEERS". HILARIOUS TRAILER FOR "GNOMEO AND JULIET"

Does Liam Hemsworth, the brother of Chris Captain America Hemsworth and the boyfriend of Miley Montana Cyrus, look like an angel to you? Well, he might take the lead role in Disney's FALLEN, a teen fantasy similar to "Twilight" but with fallen angels instead of vampires. This will be an adaptation of the cheesy novel by Lauren Kate about a high school student who experiences forbidden love, and has to choose between two young men who are actually fallen angels who have battled over her for centuries :)) Ah, the story of my life :))) As HOLLYWOOD SPY wrote earlier, young Liam is also playing the lead role in 2011 epic "Arabian Nights".

And as you've already noticed, Paul W.S. Anderson's THE THREE MUSKETEERS is slowly but resolutely shaping up to become the film with the trashiest costumes ever. You've seen Orlando Bloom in frills, feathers and brocade and now take a look at Milla Jovovich's Halloween costume she'll be sporting in the film as Milady De Winter :)

You can also check out the first trailer for the crazy, funny and super charming animated movie GNOMEO AND JULIET which features songs from Elton John and voices from Emily Blunt, James McAvoy, Jason Statham, Michael Cane ... Premiering in February 2011, GNOMEO AND JULIET will be a story about two garden gnomes who have as many obstacles to overcome as their quasi namesakes when they are caught up in a feud between neighbors. But with plastic pink flamingos and thrilling lawnmower races in the mix, can this young couple find a happy ending?

  1. Trailer's amusing. Remind me to avoid placing gnomes in my yard.

    don't tell me you were planning to do it previously :)

    @Jaccsy
    I actually think those might be some dead zombies on her hat:)))

  6. Milla Jovovich's dress is a bit extravagant.

  7. Gnomeo and Juliet looks like a hoot.
    There's big money in Halloween--that industry just loves trashy costumes that can be mass produced and sold for beaucoups profits.

  8. That costume is horrendous :P I'm assuming the this rendition of The Three Musketeers will be even more over the top than usual :P

    Gnomeo and Juliet looks like fun, it's good to see so many British voice actors in one film too :)

    oh, there are a lot of hilarious lines in the trailer :)))

    @Matt

    @Avalon
    a bit too much :)

    @Arlee
    which was the best selling Halloween costume in your career?

    @Jamie
    yep, I certainly wouldn't wear it myself :) And you know we love British actors even just as voice cast :)

  11. glad you like it, Andrew, I don't like her acting, but she is Serbian so we gotta support our own people :))))

  12. Best selling Halloween costume? That's hard to say. For one thing I didn't really keep track. Also, there were so many variations of costumes and each new movie brought a new design.
    Aside from the generics such as witches and vampires, Batman, Darth Vader, and Spiderman were all very popular costumes.

  13. Oh man, 3 musketeers looks so bad. A shame really. If I recall correctly, the last one they made, The Musketeer was pretty good. And not nearly as frilly.

  14. @Arlee
    I'd probably wear a lemur or koala costume myself :)

    @Bryan
    ah, what I can say, that period is known for frills thrills but it's the quality of the costumes I don't like here not the design itself. And plus they will all have horrible hairdos.

  15. Gnomeo and Juliet looks fun for the fam. I hadn't seen this trailer before. But that's why I stop by the Hollywood Spy. To get the latest and greatest. Thanks.

  18. is it just me or does it look like her head isn't attached in that costume? it's kinda creepy. she's the one who played joan of arc, right?

  19. I suspect that no one here knows a thing about 17th century Paris and what was worn at the time. These costumes are authentically reproduced based on knowledge that has come down over the centuries. Don't let your lack of knowledge hit you in the a&& on your way out of this blog. Do some research yourselves.

  20. @Vics
    it does look creepy :)

    @Anonymous
    oh, please, dear Anonymous, if you read the post, the comments and the whole blog better you would see clearly that we are not against the style of the costumes, we know that it was the period of frills, lace, feathers, patterns, wigs ... Our point is that the quality of the costumes looks cheep so far. So it's not so much about the design as about the way the costumes were made.
    We also emphasized - that this doesn't mean the costumes won't look better on film, when the production process is over.
    And again if you did some research yourself, you would notice that not only we write mainly about historical movies and epic, and that we know a great deal more about history than most people, but we also have a number of historical experts here among the commentators and readers.
    Thank you for dropping by ;)

  21. BTW, Dezmond, there is nothing exclusive about your stories. I had seen the one on Mila in about 15 places before you posted it. There are way too many movie sites on the net now and all showing the same exact stories, photo's, trailers, etc.

  22. thanks for the love and support, Anonymous, keep on spreading positive energy all around and you will sure feel better.

  23. Note to Anonymous: There are also too many writer sites, political sites, pet sites, cooking site, etc, etc, which is the beauty of the web. We can find our favorites and pick and choose. There are many of us who happen to enjoy Dezmond's personable style and like him a great deal. He also exudes positivity and maybe you need to bask in that glow for awhile to calm some of the sad vitriol which you harbor. And why do you have to post anonymously anyway?
    Dezmond, some of us appreciate you greatly.

  27. I heard on the other day Liam is no longer with Miley, but what do I know, I don't exactly keep up with gossips.I don't know what to think yet about Three Musketeers, but the costumes look pretty darn good so far.

  28. it's possible, Flixy, but it's true that they were a cute teen couple :)

  29. I'm not into another Twilight book phenomenon, but seeing how the movies are getting less teen angst and more giant wolves popping out of the snow, it might turn out okay. I mean it won't be any Iron Man for me, but I won't talk down about it. Random observation: That guy looks a lot like Chris Evans, and Chris Evans would make an awful angel

    I'm kind of interested in a Three Musketeers remake, but the way you put it with the costumes and Orlando Bloom. It sounds like it might be another Street Fighter Legend of Chun li

    I'm guessing these won't be the regular angels we usually imagine in our heads :) HOLLYWOOD SPY also doesn't understand TWILIGHT phenomenon.

    Well, having in mind the director of the new MUSKETEERS there definitely is a danger of a new STREET FIGHTER :))
