TOM BATEMAN, RICHARD E. GRANT LEAD 'JEKYLL & HYDE' EPIC TV DRAMA! BIZARRE 'VOICES' TRAILER WITH RYAN REYNOLDS! MATT BOMER IN 'MONTGOMERY CLIFT' HBO BIOPIC

'JEKYLL & HYDE' TV SERIES

TOM BATEMAN AND RICHARD E. GRANT LEADING THE CAST

A few months ago I've told you that British ITV is planning a new JEKYLL AND HYDE TV series and now the cast has been officially announced: the ten episode adventure drama will star Tom Bateman (Da Vinci's Demons), Richard E. Grant and Natalie Gumede. In the series set in 1930s London and focusing on the grandson of the doctor featured in the classic story, Bateman will portray the role of Robert Jekyll, Grant will play Sir Roger Bulstrode who heads the secret government department M10, and Gumede will star as Bella who is in a love triangle with them. Dr Jekyll is a young, sensitive and naïve man of intellect and morality, well meaning and somewhat repressed. He transforms into Hyde in moments of extreme anger, stress and when his or the lives of others are threatened. And Hyde is a totally different person: a superhero with super powers, great strength, speed and invulnerability. He is confident, and risk-taking.

MATT BOMER TO LEAD

'MONTY CLIFT' HBO TV BIOPIC
In other television news, 'Deadline' reports that Matt Bomer will headline HBO's new biopic on MONTGOMERY CLIFT reteaming with the channel after receiving Emmy and Globe nomination for the role in THE NORMAL HEART. At his prime, Clift rivalled Marlon Brando and James Dean as Hollywood’s biggest male stars! Clift also was the first Hollywood actor to refuse to sign a studio contract, choosing independence instead. His matinee idol good looks were destroyed by a devastating car accident that left him with a broken nose and partially paralysed face. Though he continued to make movies, the accident haunted him until his death, even though he received an Oscar nomination, his fourth, for one of his last performances in 'Judgment At Nuremberg'. He also struggled with his sexual orientation and resorted to alcohol and drug addition following the accident.

As the new guy at work, Jerry is asked to help plan the company picnic, and he meets Fiona, an attractive English girl from accounting. Jerry immediately takes a liking to Fiona and excitedly goes home to tell his pets about her. And surprisingly, they answer. SERIES CHARACTER IMAGES

Still no movie news to share with you after the festive period, so I will entertain you today with the spotlight on upcoming new historical mini series SONS OF LIBERTY which is opening its first episode at History Channel on Sunday January 25th in a three night event set in the American Revolutionary War era with the second and third episode airing on Monday and Tuesday! Directed by Kari Skogland, the epic series will have its music composed by Oscar winner Hans Zimmer.

  THE STORY OF REVOLUTION

REBELS BECOME HEROES

The six hour show will revolve around a defiant and radical group of young men – Sam Adams (Ben Barnes), a natural born leader who accidentally sets in motion the revolution while trying to clear his debts and the unrest he triggers leads to unexpected consequences, John Adams (Henry Thomas), a lawyer and Sam's conservative, smart cousin, Paul Revere (Michael Raymond James), a veteran who wholeheartedly joins forces with Sam Adams, John Hancock (Rafe Spall), the wealthiest man in Boston at the time who joins the group after the British try to destroy his merchant fleet of ships, and Joseph Warren (Ryan Eggold), a doctor and man of conscience and integrity, – as they band together in secrecy to change the course of history and make America a nation. TERRA NOVA'S Jason O'Mara will play George Washington, a former British Army officer, who has become a farmer in Virginia and one of the most respected men in his colony whose advice sets some of the groundwork for what will become the legendary Colonial Army, while Dean Norris is portraying brilliant yet mischievous Benjamin Franklin, and Marton Csokas will be General Thomas Gage who is sent to handle the colonial unrest in Boston. The brutal tactics he employs put the city on edge and his soldiers actions ultimately light the fuse on a rebellion that cannot be stopped. Emily Berrington will play his wife Margaret, who stuck in the abusive marriage, eventually provides the SONS OF LIBERTY with some of their most useful intelligence in their early clashes with the British.

GLAMOROUS CHARACTER PHOTOS AND HILARIOUS QUEEN'S ADDRESS TO THE NATION FROM E!'S NEW 'THE ROYALS' SERIES WITH ELIZABETH HURLEY, VINCENT REGAN, WILLIAM MOSELEY, JOAN COLLINS

  GLITZY CHARACTER PHOTOS

FROM E!'S FIRST SCRIPTED TV SERIES 'THE ROYALS'

Now I know that Christmas is over (although the Orthodox one is this Wednesday), but I have the queen's festive address to the nation to show you in the trailer below: it is juicier and spicier than you'd expect, but that is only because we're talking about queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) from E!'s first scripted TV series THE ROYALS which will open the doors of its fictional court this March 15th ! I also have the first character photos from the series to show you featuring, beside the queen, the king, the prince, the princess and their entourage. It is a drama about a fictional British Royal family set in modern day London, who inhabit a world of opulence and regal tradition that caters to any and every desire, but one that also comes with a price tag of duty, destiny and intense public scrutiny.

AS IF RULING MONA- RCHY WASN'T ENOUGH
As mentioned above British star Elizabeth Hurley (can you believe she is 49?!?) plays the gorgeous and glamorous queen Helena, whose family life isn't as glitzy as her royal subjects might think: her oldest son has just died in an accident leaving the function of the heir to the throne to his horny younger brother Prince Liam (William Moseley) who might not fit into the role as perfectly as his mother would want to since he is wrecking the queen's nerves by dating an American girl Ophelia (Merritt Patterson). As if that wasn't enough, Liam’s ex Gemma (Sophie Colquhoun) is also still in the picture. To make things worse her daughter princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park) prefers wild partying and enjoying drugs and booze better than her royal duties and also loves to flirt with their head of security Jasper (Tom Austen). Meanwhile, the queen's marriage to king Simon (Vincent Regan) is also slowly failing! And her mother, the Grand Duchess of Oxford (Joan Collins), isn't helping much since her involvement in the Queen's life could lead to trouble, as she always pursues an agenda of her own.

When young squire Gareth (Julian Morris) goes in search of a fallen comet, he believes it holds gold that he can use to pay for his knighthood. After Drago saves Gareth's life, the two become intricately bonded and they must work together to defeat the sorcerer and stop his reign of terror. Along the way, Gareth learns the true meaning of being a knight.
