TOM HIDDLESTON IN FIRST
'CRIMSON PEAK' IMAGES
Your main visual treat for this weekend is our most beloved Tom Hiddleston in the first photos from epic horror movie CRIMSON PEAK coming from the infamous director Guillermo del Toro. To arrive into cinemas next October, and also starring Charlie Hunnam and Mia Wasikowska, the movie is set in the aftermath of a family tragedy, and follows an aspiring author who is torn between the love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes and bleeds and ... remembers.
SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET
The official synopsis says: A young woman (Mia Wasikowska) is swept off by her feet by a charismatic suitor (Tom Hiddleston) and taken back to his ancestral home. There she finds more than she bargained for, including a jealous sister and more than a few skeletons in the closet.

I'm usually not a fan of horror, but maybe
ReplyDeleteSame here, although I probably won't watch... as much as I adore Hiddles, I cannot stand the female part of the cast
DeleteTHANK YOU, DEZZY!
ReplyDeleteI knew you'd drop by at the first mention of Hiddlestud, Debs :)
DeleteThe pics are amazing! I love a good horror, and I suspect this won't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked them!
DeleteCrimson Peak sounds gosh-awful boo-boo scary. The "diggs" he lives in don't encourage me to watch. They don't allow "blankies" in the cinema :((
ReplyDeleteHiddleston is rather cute but with a pale devilish look. No!
I do prefer Hiddlestud with his natural golden blond hair, not with the dark colour
Delete"Hiddlestud" -:)))
DeleteWe have such names for most Hollywood hunks :)
DeleteWell that looks good. I love that word "atmospheric" sounds so out of this world - and those photos are just that.
ReplyDeletethey do create the creepy atmosphere :)
DeleteI love the photo with the house background. Cool architecture. Nowadays I wonder if it's real or CGI.
ReplyDeleteReal probably, I wouldn't wanna live there for sure....
DeletePick Tom! I mean the outsider. Good post today Dez. *Stares at Tom* You are a wonderful Loki.
ReplyDeletewe do positively adore Hiddlestud! Remember when he once blessed me at Twitter? :)
DeleteCould be good...
ReplyDeleteor not :)
DeleteI wonder why it's taking so long to release? Filming completed early last year.
ReplyDeletesome films take years to get release date, like SEVENTH SON, for example, which will be out February after almost year and a half delay
DeleteWhat the hell Dezzy!? No picture of Charile!? You disappoint me today. You really disappoint me ;)
ReplyDeletethere aren't any official photos of him from the film yet
DeleteWell, dah-ling, you could have just tossed an old one in there for good measure. Preferably with as little clothes on as possible. I'm sure the ladies here wouldn't mind :)
DeleteI do have a number of such in my vault...
DeleteThe interior of the ancestral home already looks scary. Lots of detail.
ReplyDeleteit is very Gothic!
DeleteIs this to be regular horror or Gothic horror? Gothic horror from the original period isn't all that scary, but modern horror is atrocious. I've never watched a modern horror movie, but if this is tame I might give it a go. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteHey, The Hubbies Aunt passed away on New Years day, which is why I suddenly dropped off Blogger. She was in her late eighties and had been suffering from cancer for several years. She was ready to go so it is really a blessing that she's been released from pain. I may be in and out a bit this week.
Gothic horror, I presume. But since it is from del Toro it will probably be a nasty torture porn, because he is the most disgusting of them all... he openly killed a child with a knife in one of his movies... I loathe him.
DeleteSorry to hear it dear. Hope his father is better? 2nd of January was two years from my father's death.
Looks like something for my youngest son! He's a horror fan! I'm not!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
me neither, Peter!
