'WHITE PRINCESS' EPIC SERIES
 LAVISH CAST PHOTOS ARE HERE!
Tons of costume drama delight today, my spylings, as we have first photos and teasers for upcoming new period set TV shows! A few weeks ago I showed you the first teaser for THE WHITE PRINCESS series, a sequel to The White Queen but this time produced only by Starz without a help from BBC, and today you can feast your eyes on the lavish new cast photo shoot photos from the eight episode saga which will start its rule this April! As the photos show it will obviously have much better costumes than the first season which was largely criticised for historical inaccuracies and lack of any splendour.

The story begins in the aftermath of the 1485 battle of Bosworth, the final conflict in England's War of the Roses, where Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins Levy) unexpectedly defeated King Richard III to become King Henry VII. Elizabeth of York (Jodie Comer), the niece and former lover of Richard, is forced to marry Henry to unite their warring families, but the two can barely contain their disdain for one another. Newly crowned Queen of England, Elizabeth finds herself torn between loyalty to her blood relatives, placating her husband and his icy mother (Michelle Fairley) and establishing herself as a key player within the court's intricate politics.

NEW CAST PHOTOS FOR NBC'S EPIC SERIES 'A.D. THE BIBLE CONTINUES' AIRING EASTER SUNDAY WITH VINCENT REGAN, RICHARD COYLE, JOANNE WHALLEY, GRETA SCACCHI

A.D. THE BIBLE CONTINUES
EPIC SERIES CAST PHOTOS
The only thing I have for you today, people, are gorgeous new character photos for NBC's new historical series A.D. THE BIBLE CONTINUES, the sequel to their famous THE BIBLE hit series, which is arriving to the small screens this Easter Sunday coming from  executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey with the epic story picking up where THE BIBLE left off, exploring the aftermath of events following the Crucifixion.

VINCENT REGAN AND RICHARD COYLE LEAD THE STELLAR CAST
The series focuses on the disciples who had to go forward and spread the teachings of Christ to a world dominated by political unrest, and the start of a whole new religion that would dramatically reshape the history of the world. Jesus (Juan Pablo Di Pace) dies on the cross at the hands of the Romans, deserted by even his most loyal followers. Peter (Adam Levy) and the disciples are hunted by Temple authorities led by High Priest Caiaphas (Richard Coyle) and Roman soldiers under orders from Governor Pontius Pilate (Vincent Regan). For the tiny band of followers, every day is a fight for survival, and their mission to spread the word to the world seems impossible. Yet, they have hope and soon they have power: the amazing miracle of the Resurrection and the shocking arrival of the Holy Spirit upon them all at Pentecost enables them to inspire more and more people to join. The growing church brings challenges for Peter, John (Babou Alieu Ceesay) and Mary Magdalene (Chipo Chung), who are pushed to the limit; they face trials  while trying to understand the God-given power granted to them as they transition from the sorrow of Christ's ultimate sacrifice to the awe-inspiring wonder of the Resurrection and beyond. Joanne Whalley and Greta Scacchi also star.
