Channel 4 and Steven Moffat have produced new comedy series NUMBER 10 with Rafe Spall playing the prime minister, Katherine Kelly as his Chief of Staff, and Jenna Coleman as her deputy and today we have the first images to prove it. Laura Haddock and Richard Rankin also star! There’s a Prime Minister in the attic, a coffee bar in the basement, and a wallpapered labyrinth of romance, crisis and heartbreak in-between. Set in the only terrace house in history with mice and a nuclear deterrent, it’s the only knock-through in the world where a hangover can start a war. The government will be fictional and unspecific, but the problems will be real. We’ll never know which party is in power, because once the whole world hits the fan it barely matters. The series will air sometime this year.

There is not much to expect in the scorching month of August, I can tell you that right now, but what I can definitely promise you is that we are getting a visit from the god of dreams himself when THE SANDMAN ten episode fantasy drama television series based on the 1989–1996 comic book written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC Comics starts streaming from August 5th. ENTER THE KINGDOM OF DREAM

A wizard attempting to capture Death to bargain for eternal life traps her younger brother Dream instead. And thus, in 1916, Morpheus, the king of dreams and one of the seven Endless, is captured in an occult ritual. Coleman plays two versions of the character: the eighteenth century-residing ancestor Lady Johanna Constantine and her present day descendant! Joely Richardson is Ethel Cripps: Burgess' fiancee and the mother of John Dee. Niamh Walsh is young Ethel Cripps. David Thewlis is Dr. John Dee: Cripps's son whose endeavor to find "truth" jeopardizes the world. Stephen Fry is Fiddler's Green / Gilbert: A mythical place of the Dreaming! Over at Comic Con, Amazon has just unveiled the first full  trailer for their epic TV series LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER which arrives September 2nd. And the trailer has it all: from Galadriel, to Sauron, and evil Balrog! The eight part $500 million worth first season will take us on a visit to many different places in Middle Earth both human, Elven and Dwarven. Two TV projects from UK today for you, starting with Victoria's Jenna Coleman who will lead THE WAR ROOMS period set TV series produced by Oscar winning The Father's producer David Parfitt. The series tells the true story of the women who worked in Winston Churchill’s secret bunker in Whitehall, central London during WW2. Coleman will play Joan Bright, a woman who started the Second World War as a secretary and ended it organising conferences for the Allied forces. Bright was a friend of James Bond author Ian Fleming, and is rumoured to have been the template for the character of Miss Moneypenny from the Bond novels and subsequently films. Jenna Coleman is also producing.

Meanwhile, rival Sky has unveiled a plan for their new fantasy series THE RISING an eight part story of Neve Kelly (Clara Rugaard), who discovers that she is dead. She's scared and confused by this new existence.
