and still young enough to feel that their whole lives are ahead of
them. Until Liv learns about Will’s affair. Heartbreak is swiftly
followed by another emotion: fury. Revenge is her only option, and when
Will proposes a trip around America’s epic National Parks to give their
relationship a fresh start, Liv knows just how to get it! Check out the trailer below:
Yeah, I don't think this is one I'll like. A cheater and a toxic woman who fantasized about pushing him into the Grand Canyon? Maybe he should have just taken the trip with his mistress and everyone could have moved on with their lives.
ReplyDeleteYes, I wonder how the public would react if it was a show about a man who kills his wife for cheating on him, they would be like, bastard, she was not your possession, she can be with whomever she wants, but as soon as it is a man, murder is all fine and lovely. I really hope she dies in the end too and that the show does not turn out to be misandrist. In other news, I'd forgive Olly Jackson Cohen pretty much anything LOL
DeleteSeriously, I'm so sick of the glorifying of spousal violence. Like, divorce is easier. While I may joke with Jason when we pass a graveyard I'm going to send him there one day if he keeps his shit up, I could never fathom actually putting my hands on him, nor he on me. There have been bumpy times in the past where one or both of us have considered divorce. Not once did either of us consider violence. These kinds of movies justifying it only motivate women to think it's ok instead of just walking away and that pisses me off.
DeleteI'd be heartbroken if you ever divorce Jason or send him to graveyard LOL See, even saying that is supposed to like be funny, but imagine him saying that about you. In this shit saga that I have just translated she thinks it is cool and sexy that she tried to pierce him with an arrow, that she stuck a dagger into his heart and that she says daily that she wants to knife him. The writer thinks he find it sexy and that it turns him on. Now, imagine if you had a son and taught him that violent women like that are sexy. It is just so sick to me as a men, and we live in a world where it is considered fine and OK. Just imagine if he was telling and doing all that to her, would that be sexy or would he just be a sick sycho? I mean Armie Hammer lost his career just for saying some lover of his that he wants to eat her, but here she does much more than that and the writer still thinks it is sexy. It revolts me.
DeleteI think this feminist movement we've had going on the last few years, while I agree it's been needed, has been taken to extremes. Yes, we need to focus on the injustices that women still experience in our so called free country, however, we can do it in a way that doesn't put down or vilify men. We have these authors, like you are working with now, that instead of making a character that would be a leader for girls to look up to, changed that narrative and made it about women who want to have power over men. I get that violence towards women has been a topic that many have turned a blind eye to until the last few decades, but I don't believe in highlighting that plight by turning the tables and glorifying violence towards men. An eye for an eye makes everyone blind, as they say. Mariah and Kyle are all about crucifying straight while males and I'm like, wtf, why? I mean, Ky is transitioning into a male who will be/is perceived by everyone as being a straight white male, so aren't you basically telling the world you're the villain in the story? Make it make sense! I honestly think everyone has lost their damn minds and we're floating through a twisted fun house with all of the distorted views most days.
DeleteThey are becoming toxic in their anger.
