RISE OF THE RAVEN SERIES
BETA FINISHES PRODUCTION!
Beta Film has announced that they have finished production on new ten part series RISE OF THE RAVEN. The story of the epic adventure series that will air in Autumn 2024 on Hungarian TV2 network, Austrian ORF and probably other national broadcasters around Europe, is set in 15th-century Europe, when army commander Janos Hunyadi and his wife Erzsébet Szilágyi must battle scandals, political power plays, and conspiracies from Warsaw to Rome, Belgrade, and Vienna, while the Ottoman Empire threatens to overrun Europe. In honor of Hunyadi's decisive victory at the Battle of Belgrade, which reshaped the history of the continent, the noon bells ring all over the world to this day.
STELLAR INTERNATIONAL CAST
Alongside Hunyadi, played by Gellért L. Kádár stands his wife, Elizabeth
Szilagyi, portrayed by Vivien Rujder. They are joined by a stellar
international cast, including Austria’s Laurence Rupp, Cornelius Obonya,
Murathan Muslu, Italy’s Francesco Acquaroli, Czech actor Karel Roden,
Serbian Hollywood star Rade Serbedzija (Batman Begins, Mission:
Impossible II) as well as Italian actors Thomas Trabacchi, Elena Rusconi
and Giancarlo Giannini.
It is produced by Serendipity Point Films, Twin Media, HG Media, MR
Film, and Beta in coproduction with TV2 Network and ORF. See production clip below:

This would be a good time for some serious streamer to buy it, add subtitles and have something new this Fall/Winter season
ReplyDeleteThis will not come this season, but next Autumn, 2024, so they have time to sell it to a streamer till then. Not sure, though, big streamers are interested in a series on these regions of mine, sadly.
DeleteAt the very least, I hope Prime or Netflix picks it up. You are right. The mainstream streamers such when it comes to anything not shot in Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteThey do have their productions in France, Italy and Korea and Japan, even Germany, but not this part of Europe.
DeleteNot something we would watch, but each to their own. Have a great weekend, Deezy.
ReplyDeleteIt will defo air somewhere in Germany.
