BBC has sent us the trailer for their new mini TV series THE JETTY which hits BBC One July 15th. When a fire tears through a property in a scenic Lancashire lake town, Detective Ember Manning (Jenna Coleman) must work out how it connects to a podcast journalist investigating a missing persons cold case and an illicit relationship between a man in his twenties and two underage girls. But as Ember gets close to the truth, it threatens to destroy her life – forcing her to re-evaluate everything she thought she knew about her past, present and the

We probably won't get this one here, but I'd watch this. I like a good mystery type watch every now and again.

DeleteWell, I am not sure that they picked the right one as the detective...just don't see one in Jenna Coleman. p.s Hope the weather there is treating you good. Can't hardly call summer over here..last two days were sunny and hot..today is 15-21C and bloody rainy. Had to use umbrella the whole morning when we went for a walk.
ReplyDeleteShe is defo not very convincing. We should switch cities, as it has been over 40 degrees for weeks now, luckily we also had two or three days of downpours, so at least the nature is not scorched, but it is still the worst summer ever.
DeleteOver 40C for days is horrible...but at least not humid and hot at the same time. We will have even colder days next week. Tomorrow is just 14C. Lavender and Honest festival sounds very romantic to me.
DeleteI would adore your 14C, we are having 35C tomorrow, unofficially it will be well over 40 and I have to go grocery shopping! I cannot even imagine what August will look like. Strange that you do not have the heat wave, as Europe is usually in sync with it during summer. We also have a lot of wild thunder and wind storm with floods and roofs destroyed.
