JUDE LAW AND ANDREW GARFIELD TO PLAY SIEGFRIED AND ROY
Apple TV Plus has selected Jude Law and Andrew Garfield to play famous lunatics Siegfried and Roy in WILD THINGS series. Law will star as Siegfried and Garfield as Roy in the eight episode drama that tells the wild ride relationship tale of two showman-magicians who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.

Well, this one is finally coming to the cinemas June 14th so we have received the first trailer for FIREBRAND historical movie drama with Jude Law as King Henry VIII and Alicia Vikander as his last wife Katherine Parr. The film that also stars Amr Waked, Eddie Marsan, Simon Russell Beale, Sam Riley and Patsy Ferran, did not receive well criticism after it's festival run, but we will judge for ourselves. The film did have a rather long way to theatres from changing the lead actress to changing the title.
IN BLOOD SOAKED TUDOR ENGLAND twice

privately grieving, Katherine finds herself under ever-increasing
scrutiny and suspicion. Knowing that even a whisper of scandal might
lead to her downfall, Katherine must unleash her own scheme to fight for
survival.
Netflix has announced some brand new series tonight including an hour long mini series BLACK RABBIT with Jude Law and Jason Bateman who will also direct a few episodes of the new series. In it, when the owner of a New York City hotspot (Bateman) allows his turbulent brother (Law) back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.

Not that you will recognise them, especially Jude Law (that is him in the first photo)who changed fully in order to play Henry VIII in FIREBRAND historical drama which got standing ovations last night at Cannes, but everything gets ovations there, some other first review describe the film as empty and lacking in fire. Beside looking not as handsome as he normally does, Jude revealed that during the filming he also wore a specially-made perfume, to get into character, made out of 'blood, fecal matter and sweat'! Poor Alicia Vikander, who plays his last wife Catherine Parr in it.. Patsy Ferran portrays princess Mary and Junia Rees portrays Elizabeth. Erin Doherty portrays radical preacher Anne Askew, who was labelled a heretic by Henry and his supporters, while Sam Riley and Eddie Marsan play brothers Thomas and Edward Seymour, who were senior courtiers.
FIREBRAND FOLLOWS
Catherine Parr, the final wife of Henry VIII, a feminist force to be
reckoned with who outlived the notorious king; the fate of his previous
wives being either divorced, dead or beheaded. She is named regent with
the king warring abroad, and she’s done everything she can to push for a
new future based on her radical Protestant beliefs. Law plays a royal
on his way out, having returned from fighting with a dire medical
condition. Palace intrigue abounds entailing Henry squaring off with the
Seymours brothers, one of them having their eye on Catherine, and the
king ultimately fading.

and ghastly suffocating, but for some reason Hollyweird is making another PETER PAN AND WENDY movie and they don't give a damn what we think. But at least Captain Hook will be good as they've just cast Jude Law in the role. Disney is making a live action remake of their 1953 animated movie with David Lowery at the helm and with the story based on JM Barrie’s novel about the free spirited Peter Pan who takes Wendy Darling and her siblings John and Michael to Neverland, a magical land where children never grow up. Earlier this year it has been announced that British actor Alexander Molony will play Peter Pan, while newcomer Ever Anderson is set to become Wendy.

Written by Ellen Barry, it turns out that Prince Cyrus, who claimed to be a member of the Muslim kingdom captured by the British East India company in the 19th century was in fact Mickey Butt, the son of the registrar of Lucknow University.
Doctors, as the biggest heroes of the year together with brave policemen, are getting their own series over at BBC who have set Ben Whishaw as the lead in THIS IS GOING TO HURT the small screen adaptation of Adam Kay’s best selling diaries documenting his time as a junior doctor. AMC will co produce the story that follows Adam Kay, who we find wending his way through the ranks of hospital hierarchy – junior enough to suffer the crippling hours, but senior enough to face a constant barrage of terrifying responsibilities. Adam is clinging to his personal life as he is increasingly overwhelmed by stresses at work: the 97-hour weeks, the life and death decisions, and all the while knowing the hospital parking meter is earning more than him. It is a show about trying to be a good doctor in a system which can sometimes feel like it’s working against you.

The series, which will air next year, should start shooting this summer.
