Universal Television is set to produce a new series on a team tasked with recovering hostages from terrible situations all over the globe. SNATCHBACK is already set to reunite Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as leads after playing brothers in Prison Break. Inspired by the life of a real covert intelligence officer who is still active in the field today, the series will follow a highly skilled privately contracted team of operatives as they recover hostages across the globe from some of the most exotic, and equally dangerous locations on the planet.
Deadline reports that Will Smith could have Helen Mirren for a partner in COLLATERAL BEAUTY in which Smith is a New York City ad exec who spirals into a deep depression after an intense personal tragedy. His employees enact a scheme to bring him out of it with successful, and completely unexpected, results. As part of the scheme, the employees hire an actress to be played by Mirren.

'LEGENDS OF TOMORROW'
THEIR TIME IS NOW
Speaking of CW they've released today a poster for new sf series LEGENDS OF TOMORROW which starts January following a group of heroes and villains from the DC universe – Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) and Firestorm, Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl.
Well, I'm sure the ladies will sigh and agree that this cast has become uber hunky: Matt Bomer is the latest one to join the remake of THE MAGNIFI= CENT SEVEN and he is set to play the husband of Haley Bennett's character, the woman who hires seven mysterious gunmen to protect her town from a gang of bandits, lead by a nefarious robber baron. Earlier this week I informed you that Jason Momoa has joined the cast which already has Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Luke Grimes, Vicent D'Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee and Denzel Washington. Antoine Fuqua is directing!
'WILL' EPIC TV SERIES

revolve around a young William Shakespeare and it will be told in

production design.
'LEGENDS OF TOMORROW'
TRAILER WITH WENTWORTH MILLER, BRANDON ROUTH AND DOMINIC PURCELL
And yet another series with superheros will be CW's new show LEGENDS OF TOMORROW which has just got its first trailer. When heroes alone are not enough the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known? Brandon Routh as The Atom, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Caity Lotz as White Canary and Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl star!
Now, I was mostly disappointed with CW's ARROW and THE FLASH series (nice casts, boring, dated stories) but I know that many of you love to watch them, so you might be happy to hear that CW is preparing a spin-off series which will will see a group of heroes battling against a major DC Comics villain. Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Victor Garber and Caity Lotz will reprise their superhero roles from the original series. Dominic Purcell will again take his role as Mick Rory, a pyromaniac who finds an outlet for his obsession with fire when he teams up with Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and becomes the villain known as Heat Wave. Brandon Routh will be The Atom whileVictor Garber is Firestorm. It is not sure whether Caity Lotz will reprise her role of Black Canary or some other hero. Two other male and one female characters will also be in the show.
