  1. Hello, stranger. Long time no blog (for me). Sorry, but Marlene Dietrich and Tyrone Power will always define "Witness." Good luck, Cattrall.

    1. yes, unlike last year's And Then There Were None, which was truly brilliant, this one does not look overly promising

    1. hope the Starfleet does not disappoint us. I have an unpleasant feeling it will be a very old fashioned series

    2. because it will be set before all other series, the cast seems boring, character descriptions too. I wanted it to be set far far away into the future, and they're constantly bringing it deeper in the Starfleet past. It will flop like Enterprise most probably

  3. Who is lying in the trailer? The defendant or the witness. Guess we'll see. This new Star Trek stopped hitting my hype button when Michelle Y. was shown not to be the real star. Who else should I be excited to see starring in this? Guess we'll see but Star Trek Discovery might just discover only one to two seasons. Possibly.

    1. The witness methinks, but I haven't read the novel :) A black lady, I hear, will be the lead star of Star Trek, since putting white people in lead roles seems to be offensive these days :) For some time I actually thought they'd gonna put some transgender alien in the lead role for the sake of utter diversity lol

  5. Hmmm, The Witness looks hit or miss. Nothing really grabbing my attention here. The kitty is still pretty darn cute though :)

    2. Maybe. Sometimes I think cats were sent up from Hell. My in-laws had some really mean cats over the years. It wouldn't surprise me if they were murdering bastards by night.

    3. most of my cats were/are murdering bastards, I've caught them a number of times butchering a pigeon or a dove, even a pheasant. Nyatza's late brother Arsenie once caught, killed and ate a white dove, I nearly fainted when I saw it. And Nyatza's lil' bastard daughter Simonida killed one of our turtle doves and ate it when she was just three months old. They're ebil, ebil I say

    4. That's a lot of bird killing going on at your place! The cats here are usually after the squirrels, so thankfully, no dead birds to be had. I do find a few mice laying in my yard from time to time. I think the neighbors cat is leaving me little gifts. We did have a hawk butcher a poor little bunny on our deck once. I went to let the dogs out and saw a mutilated bunny all over the place. What a mess! I had to wake Jason up to come clean the mess up before the girls woke up.

    5. Good thing the hawk didn't focus on one of your dogs, hawks and owls certainly won't shy away from hunting down a cat or a dog too, like they tried a few times with my kittens. Thankfully we don't have any mice around my house, so my cats can't bring me gifts. We just have our hedgehog Jozo who comes incognito from time to time for a nocturnal steal of my cats' food. He is huge as a soccer ball.
