'THE SHACK' FIRST TRAILER
WITH SAM WORTHINGTON AND OCTAVIA SPENCER
Two trailers for you today, starting with the very first one for the big screen adaptation of famous THE SHACK in which Sam Worthington is a man
whose youngest daughter is kidnapped during a family holiday. Evidence
turns up in an abandoned shack to suggest she was murdered, which
stymies the case. But then, four years later, he receives a note,
apparently from God (Octavia Spencer), inviting him to go back to the ruined building. He
accepts, against his better judgement, and what he finds there changes
his life forever. The long awaited movie isn't coming out any time soon, since it is scheduled for March next spring.
'THE MUMMY' REBOOT TEASER
TOM CRUISE & RUSSELL CROWE
In the trailer department, first teaser and poster have been released for the reboot of THE MUMMY with full trailer arriving Sunday with Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe (as Dr Jekyll) starring in Universal's new movie in their monsters franchise. Sofia Boutella plays the Mummy. It is out next summer!
"The Shack" is too cloyingly religious for me so they won't be getting my box office money.
ReplyDeletemy thought exactly, Debs
DeleteTom Cruise and a Mummy, we'll see!
ReplyDeletehope the Mummy eats him up!
DeletePft to The Mummy. Religion aside, I do think The Shake looks like a beautiful film.
ReplyDeletevisually yes, indeed, who would not want to live in such a shack... with Wortington.... and who wouldn't want Octavia as God? She would be just and benevolent!
DeleteNo to The Shack, and yes to The Mummy. I'm really not a Tom Cruise lover, but I've seen every other mummy movie, so why stop now. Besides, I'm sure the special effects will be good.
ReplyDeleteI will probably skip it exactly because I've seen previous MUMMY movies too. This one will be a sacrilege methinks
DeleteA mummy reboot... May those hollywoods be cursed forever.
ReplyDeleteCurse be upon them!
DeleteForever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever...
Deleteyou mean like forevah?
