'BIRTHMARKED' COMEDY
TO MATCH TONI COLLETTE AND MATTHEW GOODE!
Don't we just adore it when they match some of our most beloved stars on the same project? As 'Deadline' reports today, one of our favourite Australian actresses, always brilliant Toni Collette and our beloved Brit Matthew Goode will couple up in new movie comedy BIRTHMARKED coming from director Emanuel Hoss Desmarais!
Also starring Andreas Apergis, Michael Smiley, Fionnula Flanagan and
Suzanne Clément and shooting in Montreal, BIRTHMARKED is set in 1977 and
revolves around a pair of respected scientists who quit their
university jobs to conduct a nature vs. nurture experiment they think
will revolutionize understanding of human identity. The experiment will
reveal little scientific truth but instead lead the pair to discover the
true value of family.
'LADY MACBETH' TRAILER
IS RATHER SCARY, INDEED
The first trailer has, meanwhile, been released for critically acclaimed new period set movie drama LADY MACBETH out next June. Set in rural England 1865, the story centres on Katherine (Florence Pugh), a woman stifled by her loveless marriage to a bitter man twice her age,
and his cold, unforgiving family. When she embarks on a passionate affair with a young worker on her husband’s estate, a force is unleashed inside her so powerful that she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
