NEW PRIME VIDEO COMEDY SERIES WITH OCTAVIA SPENCER
Prime Video has announced work on an untitled comedy series which will follow two best friends, Judith (Hannah Waddingham) and Debbie (Octavia Spencer), who know everything about each other... or do they? Unbeknownst to Debbie, Judith has been living a double life as a highly trained assassin. When a hit goes horribly wrong, the pair must go on the run together and work to repair their broken friendship, all while being targeted by a mysterious enemy who wants them dead. There was a highly competitive bidding for the series.

Hitting Amazon Prime Video on December 10th (with a limited cinematic release a week before that), it sees Riz playing a decorated Marine who goes on a rescue mission to save his two young sons from an unhuman threat. As their journey takes them in increasingly dangerous directions, the boys will need to leave their childhoods behind. The two of them are working together for the first time in the movie based on the famous play which tells the story of one fateful night in a small regional theatre during World War Two as a troupe of touring actors stage a production of Shakespeare’s King Lear.
