If they were going to update The Magnificent Seven, couldn't at least ONE of the seven have been a woman? Some kind of Annie Oakley desperado butch type -- why not????
ReplyDeletewell that lass in the trailer does use a gun in one moment :)

DeleteI noticed her more.

DeleteExciting! So happy to see the trailer. I am counting the days until the Girl on a Train premiere. :)
ReplyDeletestay tuned for this Autumn
DeleteThat is quite the cast list for Magnificent Seven! Jason will like that one for sure. I, of course, will like Girl on the Train.
ReplyDeletewe do like the cast in GIRL, even though it is not my type of movie
DeleteTHE GIRL ON THE TRAIN was an intriguing book so I hope the movie follows closely. THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN looks good, but I think I need to watch the original first since I've never saw it all the way through.
ReplyDeleteyou might need to watch the Chinese original too :) since it was a remake of Kurosawa's movie
DeleteThe Girl on the Train looks really good. I haven't read the book so I've no idea what plot turns there will be, which makes it more fun for me to watch. The trailer made me want to see what is going on as it looks very complex.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see how I feel about The Magnificent Seven. The original wasn't bad, but I liked The Seven Samurai much, much better.
I may be absent quite a bit dahlink, as I am now playing catch up in the gardens and in the house.
it might turn out that she is just a drunkard with vivid imagination :) Not that my imagination would not go wild while spying on Lukey Evans :)
DeleteHave fun, I'm mostly absent too this summer, visiting just in late evenings since I have an incredible record breaking earth shaking amount of bestsellers to translate this summer and thus I'm on a very Spartan almost nazi regime!
After watching that trailer about The Girl on the Train, I turned the lights on. It's only 9am! What a gripper that one is going to be.
ReplyDeletehe he he jeepers creepers
DeleteOh man I LOVE how they featured the song 'heartless' in the trailer of Girl on the Train! It's a nice version of it. I read the book so I definitely want to see the movie and with Emily Blunt, it's sure to be awesome! I'd never heard of the Magnificent Seven, but it seems really cool :) it's on my list for things to watch for sure!
ReplyDeleteyou might have heard of THE SEVEN SAMURAI on which they're both based?
DeleteHope you will like GIRL, we do absolutely adore Blunt and our dearest friend Luke Evans
Is this the Magnificent 7; episode 5 or was it 6? I miss Yul in it! :-D
ReplyDeleteBut I will watch it! That's sure!
Greetings
Peter
