SF FILM 'HER' WITH
Now, this is certainly a star studded cast: ready to premiere this Autumn in Europe is new comedy movie HER from Spike Jonze which also has science fiction elements! Joaquin Phoenix takes the lead role of a lonely writer, from a not so distant future, who develops an unlikely relationship with his newly purchased operating system that's designed to meet his every need. He apparently falls in love with HER voice. The cast has just added Scarlett Johansson and Chris Pratt, and it already included Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Samantha Morton, Olivia Wilde... Speaking of Scarlett Johansson she is to appear in both CAPTAIN AMERICA 2 WINTER SOLDIER and AVENGERS 2 as the Black Widow and later this year she should star in UNDER THE SKIN as an extremely sexy alien in curvaceous human form who is having sexy adventures in Scotland. Yes, you read it right.

SECOND 'THE HEAT' TRAILER
SANDRA BULLOCK & MELISSA MCCARTHY
Your trailer for today is the second one for this summer's comedy THE HEAT which puts together Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as two unlikely police partners! Hitting cinemas this July, the hilarious comedy will see Sandra Bullock playing uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn who is paired with testy Boston cop Shannon Mullins, played by McCarthy, in order to take down a ruthless drug lord. The hitch: neither woman has ever had a partner - or a friend for that matter. The cast also includes Marlon Wayans, Michael Rapaport and Demian Bichir.
Poor Sandra!

I was also shocked by the amount of money she got :( She apparently first tried to sell it as a script but they told her to first find a publisher and then she actually got both things :)

DeleteI am so excited for Heat! Melissa is so hilarious and such a great comedic actress. Plus, she's from my home area and is a cousin to Jenny McArthy, a big Chitown fave.
ReplyDeleteLove Amy Adams and even if I don't see her movies in the theater, I always catch on DVD. can't wait for Man of Steel and she looked so cute as Clint Eastwood's daughter in Trouble with the Curve.
I'm really anxious to see if MAN OF STEEL will do good or if the evil fanboys will destroy it with their bad marks :(
DeleteIt always flabbergasts me when movies are sold of books that haven't even hit the market yet. How do they know the book will be popular? What if it really stinks?
