AMY ADAMS, OLIVIA WILDE, SCARLET JOHANSSON, CHRIS PRATT, JOAQUIN PHOENIX IN "HER"! "SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL" & "RED QUEEN" FANTASY ADAPTATIONS! SANDRA BULLOCK & MELISSA MCCARTHY "HEAT" 2ND TRAILER

  SF FILM 'HER' WITH
SCARLETT JOHANSSON, OLIVIA WILDE, AMY ADAMS, JOAQUIN PHOENIX
Now, this is certainly a star studded cast: ready to premiere this Autumn in Europe is new comedy movie HER  from Spike Jonze which also has science fiction elements! Joaquin Phoenix takes the lead role of a lonely writer, from a not so distant future, who develops an unlikely relationship with his newly purchased operating system that's designed to meet his every need. He apparently falls in love with HER voice. The cast has just added Scarlett Johansson and Chris Pratt, and it already included Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Samantha Morton, Olivia Wilde...  Speaking of Scarlett Johansson she is to appear in both CAPTAIN AMERICA 2 WINTER SOLDIER and AVENGERS 2 as the Black Widow and later this year she should star in UNDER THE SKIN as an extremely sexy alien in curvaceous human form who is having sexy adventures in Scotland. Yes, you read it right.

  FANTASY ADAPTATION OF
THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL
In today's fantasy news, first "Deadline" reports that upcoming fantasy saga THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL by Soman Chainani has been sold for movie adaptation! To be published this month by Harper Collins it tells the story of ordinary boys and girls who are kidnapped from their homes and sent to The School for Good and Evil, where they are trained to be fairy tale heroes and villains, princesses and witches. The protagonist is Sophie, a beauty who is dumped into the School for Evil while her homely best friend Agatha is taken to the School for Good. Both girls find their fortunes reversed and are forced to confront the truth about their unexpected destinies.

  VICTORIA AVEYARD'S
RED QUEEN
Meanwhile, Universal has grabbed the movie rights for Victoria Aveyard's fantasy novel RED QUEEN  set in a fantasy world where society is divided by the color of blood. It features a 17 year old girl who, to save her family, must assume the role of a long-lost princess while secretly aiding a revolution; her actions put into motion a deadly and violent dance, pitting prince against prince and her against her own heart. 22 year old Aveyard recently got a shocking mid six figure deal from Harper Collins for the book scheduled for 2015!

  SECOND 'THE HEAT' TRAILER
 SANDRA BULLOCK & MELISSA MCCARTHY
Your trailer for today is the second one for this summer's comedy THE HEAT which puts together Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as two unlikely police partners! Hitting cinemas this July, the hilarious comedy will see Sandra Bullock playing uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn who is paired with testy Boston cop Shannon Mullins, played by McCarthy, in order to take down a ruthless drug lord. The hitch: neither woman has ever had a partner - or a friend for that matter. The cast also includes Marlon Wayans, Michael Rapaport and Demian Bichir.

    1. I was also shocked by the amount of money she got :( She apparently first tried to sell it as a script but they told her to first find a publisher and then she actually got both things :)

  6. I am so excited for Heat! Melissa is so hilarious and such a great comedic actress. Plus, she's from my home area and is a cousin to Jenny McArthy, a big Chitown fave.

Love Amy Adams and even if I don't see her movies in the theater, I always catch on DVD. can't wait for Man of Steel and she looked so cute as Clint Eastwood's daughter in Trouble with the Curve.

  7. It always flabbergasts me when movies are sold of books that haven't even hit the market yet. How do they know the book will be popular? What if it really stinks?
