PAUL W.R'S LAST JOURNEY
AN ECOLOGICAL SF TALE
Staying still in Europe, which has been our destination this week, we offer today a trailer for PAUL W.R'S LAST JOURNEY a new sf adventure which
was a rather big hit in France earlier this year and has been sold to North America and many European countries (including UK, Germany, ex Yugoslavia, Poland) starring gorgeous Hugo Becker, Jean Reno, Lya Oussadit Lessert and Paul Hamy. Set in a near future marked by ecological havoc, a mysterious red moon heads straight to Earth. Paul W.R., the only astronaut capable of saving mankind, discovers the secret behind the red moon and the reason why it must not be destroyed. Relentlessly hunted down, Paul encounters Elma, a feisty teenage girl who follows him on his quest for truth.
The film was a huge hit in France after cinemas opened |
Unfortunately, they are not for me.
ReplyDeleteBetter luck next time (probably not tomorrow, though, as we will have two war films).
DeleteAnything Merlin sounds interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteWhile neither makes me super excited, I must admit that I'm intrigued to learn about Merlin before he becomes the well known Merlin.
ReplyDeleteHope he will have some magic as in that BBC Merlin series that lasted for six years he was only able to move objects... sometimes... I watched it till the end as I thought he and Arthur would shag, but they hadn't.
DeleteOne of your ads here showed a Peacock ad for another Halloween movie with Jamie Lee Curtis. When are they going to stop beating that dead horse? I think it’s time for her to retire.
ReplyDeleteCannot stand her, she is so full of herself!
DeleteI read an interview of hers once where she admitted to abandoning her role as a mother to focus on her acting career. Seems like a slimy woman if there ever was one.
DeleteBut I bet she hated her father for being busy with his job when she was little LOL
DeleteRidley Scott hasn't een doing great movie-wise. Why do you think that is?
ReplyDeleteBecause he has a horrid taste in actors!
DeleteDisney's Merlin looks great. Also its book (with Turkish language) is sold by the amazon. But especially 13-17 years old kids here always say "Marvel Movies". Do you think this is normal. Bye the way i have watched disney's movies since i was kid.
ReplyDeleteThe books were translated here, so they were probably translated in TUrkey as well, as you are one of the biggest markets for books. I actually translated some of your writers into our language, Ahmet Umit for example.
