BETTY GILPIN TO LEAD
Deadline reports that over at HBO they are currently working on BLOOD SUGAR TV series which will see Betty Gilpin taking the lead. Here's the plot: when the Sharks of Shark Tank laugh the delightful Margot Schultz and her frozen food business off stage, little do they know, they’re setting in motion one of the funniest, bloodiest and wildest rises to fame and fortune this country has ever seen. Betty Gilpin is, as you have probably guessed by now, also executive producing the new series.
3 very sexy and gorgeous ladies...hope the series are as good as they look.
ReplyDeleteI did try to choose photos very carefully. I even changed them at one point, at first the post was supposed to be blue, with them all wearing blue dresses, but I changed my mind.
DeleteI suppose if is a limited series THe House of Spirits will be closer to the book that the dull star-studded film adaptation of the 90s.
ReplyDeleteI remember that I liked the movie, but I was a kid then, so it is possible I wouldn't like it now, especially as I cannot stand Wynona Rider.
DeleteNice your post
ReplyDeleteBet you say that on every date.
DeleteI can get behind all 3 of these today. I’d watch Eva in just about anything. She is so stinking gorgeous. Though Blood Sugar might be the one I’m looking forward to a trailer the most.
ReplyDeleteI was intrigued by Blood Sugar as well as I love Dragon's Den, the UK version of Shark's Tank. They always have such fun products. I just hope it won't be too bloody and bizarre LOL Will she turn the sharks into her frozen food LOL
DeleteWell that would be a gruesome twist LOL
DeleteYou did not think of that first? LOL I mean Gilpin has more of a face for horror than comedy LOL
DeleteThe Henna Artists become a popular here very soon because movies (or songs) from India and South Korea are so popular here.
ReplyDeleteYes, they air horrible Indian TV series here as well, sadly, but Turkish ones are still more popular, methinks and they have taken over totally from the Latino ones.
DeleteHouse of Spirits for the win today! Sounds juicy without being too over the top. I'm on the hunt for a juicy, light hearted book these days since I'm currently stuck in the middle of a dreadful one. Maybe I'll give them a read too.
ReplyDeleteOh, it is rather over the top, haven't you seen the original film, the ending is woooooow.
DeleteI haven't seen it, but now I'm even more intrigued!
DeleteI really loved it as a kid, very dramatic and Oscar winning.
