ALLELUJAH MOVIE
CASTS JUDI DENCH, RUSSELL TOVEY AND DEREK JACOBI
Here's another amazing ensemble: Richard Eyre has cast Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Russell Tovey, Jennifer Saunders, David Bradley for his new movie ALLELUJAH over at Pathe! The story is set on a geriatric
ward in a small Yorkshire town that comes under threat of closure, and attempts to fight back by inviting a news crew to film their preparations for a concert in honour of the hospital’s most distinguished nurse.
The film has already started shooting over in London |

Judi Dench is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteDerek and Russell too! It is interesting that after starring with Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen, our baby Russ is now starring with the other two living legends Juds and Darek!
DeleteWe know many Stories about the geriatric things. ALLELUJAH Looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI dont know other countries but here there are so many geriatric hospitals in every city. Hope this film give an information about the geruatric things, Feelings, etc.
DeleteHope they treat them nice in your geriatric homes.
DeleteI hope so!
DeleteAlleujah sounds really good! It's something that many can probably related to on a smaller scale, especially with COVID.
ReplyDeleteYou mean the closure of businesses problem? We're currently a bomb waiting to explode here as they set a rule according to which you can enter clubs and cafes after 22h only if you have a Covid Pass, so now, in protest, all businesses are closing at 22h instead of making guests show the pass. I wonder if they will ever make it compulsory for entering shops too, if they do that I think the Third WW will start.
DeleteYes, that's what I meant. We are literally a divided nation here. While your gov't and people aren't in line, it does sound like the people are standing together at least. I'm sick of people talking about discrimination and other woke concepts, and then discriminating against other people's opinions. I hope it gets better for everyone soon. The small businesses that are left won't be able to keep this up much longer.
DeleteWe must start with the partisan fight against the system, methinks, they have to go down.
DeleteAlleujah is worth a watch just for the casting alone!
ReplyDeleteA feature film for The Last Kingdom. I am sure fans will rejoice with that news!
I know I will, that show has been on for like seven or eight years due to the big breaks between seasons, but it does not seem like we got remotely enough of it, it should've had at least 15 episodes per season not just ten. But the story is getting tired indeed with Uhtred never winning what he needs so it is time to end it.
DeleteThat's why I stopped watching after the 2nd season. The breaks in between were way too long, I forgot most of the plot by the time a new season started. I'll go back and watch it in its entirety once it's fully complete.
DeleteYes, I barely remember how the last one ended LOL I spent half of Westworld season 3 trying to remember the previous plot and did not really succeed in it.
