JASON SUDEIKIS AND ED HELMS
IN 'FLETCH WON' AND 'EPIC FAIL'
Two of the lookalike comedians Jason Sudeikis and Ed Helms have two new projects. Sudeikis will star in FLETCH remake titled FLETCH WON. Chevy Chase played the character of the investigative journalist in the original film based on the Gregory McDonald mystery  novels which had 12 books in total. The movie will be an origin story described as a "gritty action comedy with heart"! Meanwhile, Ed Helms will star in EPIC FAIL, a comedy that will revolve around an elite but highly unorthodox special forces team that takes its dysfunction and excessive firepower on a desperate mission to save America. He is also attached to THE NAKED GUN reboot.

JOSH DUHAMEL JOINS
'BATTLE CREEK' TV SERIES
In Television updates today, Josh Duhamel has scored one of the two lead roles in CBS new show BATTLE CREEK. He will play an FBI agent who teams up with a totally different police detective, played by Dean Winters, to clean up the unsafe streets of Battle Creek, Michigan! The show comes from the creators of HOUSE and BREAKING BAD. This will see Duhamel's return to TV after NBC's LAS VEGAS.
'GATEWAY' SF NOVEL TO BE TURNED INTO SHOW
Deadline reports that cult sf novel GATEWAY from Frederik Pohl will be turned into a TV series by Entertainment One (HELL ON WHEELS) and De Laurentis Co. (DUNE). It is set in a space station constructed by a long-vanished alien race, now inhabited by humans. It centres on Rob Broadhead, who, haunted by a dark love story, has traveled on a one-way ticket from Earth for the extremely dangerous mission of piloting one of thousands of abandoned alien spacecrafts on Gateway. The technology of these alien ships is not fully understood, with most trips resulting in death. The reward for a rare successful return, however, can be untold riches, so crews continue to sign up despite the desperate odds.

    1. I do have a special place in my heart for Sudeikis... Olivia Wilde is such a lucky lass :) I've never seen Ed in anything though.... but I like his posh style of clothing in private life.

  3. I will watch The Normal Heart as the story is important to me. Now why did they have to cast dog face in the film. It's a serious subject and her character requires depth. She has about as much depth as a thimble half full of water.

  4. I think Jason Sudeikis and Ed Helms are two of the funniest actors we have today. I didn't really like Ed Helms on The Office, but I have loved him in all the movies he has been in!

  6. Why mess with Fletch? Though I do like Jason Sudeikis. But Fletch the original is such a classic!
Will good to see Josh on TV again.
The Normal Heart looks good. My uncle died of AIDS in the early 90's, and it was so new and misunderstood then.

  7. The Normal Heart looks emotional. I hope those two comedies are awesome since I love comedy, yet so many comedic movies fall flat.
