'US' MINI SERIES ADAPTATION
SETS TOM HOLLANDER AS LEAD
David Nicholls' super popular bestseller US is getting a four episode mini series adaptation over at BBC and they've already set the cast to be led by Tom Hollander as Douglas Petersen who is blindsided when his wife Connie
(Saskia Reeves) tells him that she’s not sure she wants to be married to him any more. Agreeing to still go on their planned family grand tour of Europe, Douglas vows to win back the love of his wife and repair his troubled relationship with their son Albie (Tom Taylor).
Tom Hollander and Tom Taylor will visit some of world's most beautiful cities |
'RED SEA DIVING RESORT'
POSTER WITH CHRIS EVANS
The movie was directed by Gideon Raff |
Inspired by remarkable true life rescue missions, this is the
incredible story of a group of Mossad agents and brave Ethiopians who in
the early 80s used a deserted holiday retreat in Sudan as a front to
smuggle thousands of refugees to Israel. The undercover team carrying
out this mission is led by the charismatic Ari Kidron and courageous
local Kabede Bimro.
I look forward to any movie with Chris Evans in it!
ReplyDeleteHe is so gorgeous and charismatic even when covered with desert dirt :)
DeleteI'm inclined to use the cliche that 'the husband is the last to know'; in this case (US)that his wife loves him no more.
ReplyDeleteUS mini- series is relevant to our times with its marriage and family explorations, so, we people will be looking forward to it.
We've got a lot of problems with the ethiopians lately, so I'm afraid I don't share your enthusiasm about them and the Mossad mission in the Red Sea Diving Resort movie.
It should be lovely visually as well as they will visit all of Europe's prettiest cities!
DeleteWhat are Ethiopians up to this time?
RIOTS.
DeleteHorrible, as if you don't have enough of problems there :(
DeleteLooks like Netflix are really upping their game!
ReplyDeleteThey get up to 40 million viewers for some of their flicks!
DeleteUS, I must have missed that book. I’ll add it to my list before watching the film. Hope it’s good.
ReplyDeleteYou will probably like all the travelling in it :)
