Serbian actor Ivan Bosiljcic takes the lead role |
You know your trusted spy is always the first one to inform you about the new period set projects arriving from all corners of the world, and today I have the first photos of Serbian star
Ivan Bosilychich in new historical series
CASANOVA IN RUSSIA (Казанова в России) that will air on Russian national TV.
LOVE IN RUSSIA
Set in imperial Russia, during the rule of Tzarina Catherine the
Great, in 1764-1765, the lavishly expensive 12 part series will follow
the great Venetian lover Giacomo Casanova during his stay in Russia,
filled with conspiracies, intrigues, insidious murders and fatal
passions. It will be an adventure in the spirit of the Three Musketeers,
only on the banks of the Neva, not the Seine. In the centre of the plot
is the story of how Casanova, sent to Russia with the plan to
infiltrate Catherine the Great's court as a Vatican spy, got carried
away by a female serf

went to extreme lengths to buy her. That accidental meeting will make
history's most famous womaniser and seducer to believe that a live could
be spent next to just one woman.

Beside being the famous lover,

Well, well, you serbians are definitely on the Map (tennis, movies, et..).
ReplyDeleteJudging by his looks, the serbian actor Ivan is perfect for the role of the irresistible Cassanova.
His embroidered outfit is as seductive as he is. He's going to break a lot of hearts among the female viewers of the series.
Well, since Russia and Serbia are sister nations, Serbian actors have been working a lot over there in recent years. Ivan's wife is a pop singer, she represented Serbia at Eurovision back in 2008 when it was held in Belgrade.
DeleteA grand tale to be told I think!
ReplyDeleteAs grand as the Russian Empire indeed
DeleteToo bad Ivan Bosilychich is off the market. I'd encourage you to hunt him down for a little meet and greet. He's quite eye catching! Makes me wonder what other eye candy you Serbs are hiding from us :)
ReplyDeleteEverybody here thinks he's gay, actually :) although he has a wife and a child, he just emits those vibes massively.
DeleteMaybe he's bi? Everyone except Allison thinks her boyfriend is gay too. His mom even stuck a pride flag in his flower bouquet at graduation. Mamas are usually the first to know these things. But, he still denies it and so does she.
DeleteMaybe she prefers it that way :) Lots of women prefer gay men to straight ones, who are we to judge :) Wait, you mean the boxer guy? It is certainly better to have a platonic love at her age, won't get hurt that much.
