1ST 'RADIOACTIVE' PHOTO
UNVEILS MARIE CURIE!
Not much to show you this boring Monday, beside the first photo of Rosamund Pike as Marie Kurie in RADIOACTIVE a story of the scientific and romantic passions of Marie and Pierre Curie, and the reverberation of
their discoveries throughout the 20th century. Coming sometime next year, the film also stars Sam Riley as Piere, with Aneurin Barnard (as famous physicist Paul Langevin), Anya Taylor Joy also starring in the Marjane Satrapi directed drama.
The film is based on a graphic novel by Lauren Redniss |
A movie about Marie Courie and husband, would be anything but boring. She actually sacrificed her life for science (died of exposure to polonium, the chemical element discovered by her and Pierre).
ReplyDeleteHer belongings (clothes, books, notebooks, furniture etc..) are still radioactive after 100 years!!
Oh, wow, where do they keep them?
DeleteI'm looking forward to this one!
ReplyDeleteHope it will be good
DeleteI thought she would be the next subject in the National Geographic series "Genius". Good they have a film since I didn't care much for the previous seasons of the Ron Howard bioseries
ReplyDeleteIt will, this is a separate movie!
DeleteI love that she’s getting the spotlight now. I also hoped she’d have a National Geographic feature since they touched down a bit on her story in Genius.
ReplyDeleteI think she will, this is a movie from Studiocanal!
DeleteI will watch it for sure, it is about Polish scientist after all☺
ReplyDeleteThat is why their named their element polonium after all :)
