Nurses are always a good subject.
ReplyDeleteI'm following the blog of a surgery nurse. I'm curious about her as she looks and acts rather weird.
When I started following, I left a comment. It got deleted and I thought it was by mistake. I don't write offensive comments and I've seen dumber comments than mine.
After a while , I left another comment. It again got deleted, so I understood there was no mistake here. So I left a third comment suggesting that she uses Blogger moderation feature which I use, and find it wonderful. If you don't like a comment you can elegantly not publish it at all, and in this way you don't have to shame the commenter by dleting his comments(By the way, I publish ANY comment. I need the moderation only for spam).
From her next post, I understood that she commplained to Blogger about me. I don't even remember the nature of her complaint.
What a strange story, but I can tell you from my experience as a teacher that medical people are usually the weirdest. Most manipulative and lying students I had teaching English to adults, were actually doctors :)
DeleteI can't for the life of me imagine why'd she complain of you, you're one of the kindest people around Blogger. She must be some crazy woman.
Ooooo, "Seacole" sounds good -- something fresh and new. But jeez, do we REALLY need ANOTHER film of "Anna Karenina"?
ReplyDeleteNot a film, series, Debs :) I just hope they don't cast some idiot in the leading role, like Keira Knightley in the latest film.
DeleteDear God, not another Anna Karenina!!! I'm convinced storytellers are nonexistent anymore. Let's keep recycling the same stuff over and over and over again. When will it end!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteI wish they would do Taras Bulba, that one was really epic! Or Ivan Grozni or Peter the Great, not always Catherine the Great....
