Hello dahlink! I has my regular face back now.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard anything about JRM in an age. Is he still battling his addiction problems? They do have him cast as a deranged person in this film, so maybe that is a clue.
he hasn't been doing much ever since Dracula show failed in US, he is doing international movies and some cheap stuff that is below him :(
DeleteHe did ruin himself and one can't expect producers to risk working with someone who might cost them money due to drug and drink problems.
Deletewell we did kindly offer to save him with our warm embrace... and something more if needed :)
DeleteHaven't seen Jonathan Rhys Meyers in anything since forever! Guess he's been in rehab.
ReplyDeleteand he has been shooting all kinds of crap, I'm so afraid that his career is done :( I can't believe he isn't getting US show leads
DeleteI always did like JRM. I do hope something comes along to help revive his career. Black Butterfly does sound interesting, though I always like him more as a good guy in films, like the character he played in August Rush.
ReplyDeletehe could probably use a new agent, or maybe just some ambition? He did get married recently, methinks, so that is good news for him
DeleteSadly, I'm sure his downward spiral is a product of his own doing. Unless he has his addictions under control, it doesn't matter who he hires, he'll still be fast tracking it to nowhere land. Let's hope his new bride gives him the motivation he needs to get back on the horse and let his talent shine again.
Deletefingers crossed for him
DeleteI'm already a fan of Carrie Pilby. It's so refreshing to watch a character like her, to discover life through her eyes . Whoa, the last film, that is one intense dinner!
ReplyDeletearen't many of us like Pilby?
DeleteCarrie Pilby looks like one I will really enjoy. That dinner- looks intense! Lots of variety here. :)
