 'KILLING OF A SACRED DEER
NICOLE KIDMAN & COLIN FARRELL
Casting news today, starting with 'Hollywood Reporter' writing that Nicole Kidman has joined THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER in which Colin Farrell will join director Yorgos Lanthimos again after LOBSTER. She will play  his wife, with Farrell a successful surgeon who attempts to integrate a teenager into his family, but when the teen’s actions grow increasingly sinister, the doctor is forced to make an unthinkable sacrifice.
ZAC EFRON JOINS HUGH JACKMAN
Meanwhile, Zac Efron is apparently in talks to join Hugh Jackman in new musical THE GREATEST SHOWMAN ON EARTH in which Jackman plays PT Barnum, the impresario who founded what went on to become the travelling Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

 TYLER HOECHLIN IS
IS SUPERGIRL'S SUPERMAN
In TV casting news, if you like SUPERGIRL series which flew over to CW, you will be happy to hear that Tyler Hoechlin has been cast as Superman and Clark Kent! He will be visiting SUPERGIRL in National City at the start of the second season! They've also cast Nick Zano as Citizen Steel in LEGENDS OF TOMORROW!
MAX BROWN JOINS 'THE ROYALS'
And a royal piece of TV news, as well. We thought that the oldest prince died even before the 1st season of E! megapopular THE ROYALS series started since it begun with his funeral, but it seems he is alive! Max Brown has joined the cast as queen Helena's (Elizabeth Hurley) oldest son Prince Robert, who was supposed to be dead in a military accident but is coming back to turn the kingdom upside down, just when we thought Prince Liam (William Moseley) was gonna take over the throne after they threw down their scandalous uncle in the second season finale.  Returning later this year,  season three will pick up two weeks after the execution of late King Simon's (Vincent Regan) murderer.

 'DENIAL' TRAILER
RACHEL WEISZ & TIMOTHY SPALL
The first trailer has been revealed for DENIAL, the adaptation of “History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier'' book by Deborah E. Lipstadt’s (played by Rachel Weisz) about her legal battle for historical truth against David Irving (Timothy Spall), who accused her of libel! In the English legal system, the burden of proof is on the accused, therefore it was up to Lipstadt and her legal team to prove the essential truth that the Holocaust occurred. Tom Wilkinson also stars alongside Andrew Scott in the biographical drama.

    1. yes, I like how they ended the second season :) Especially how they managed to beat King Cyrus and outwit his schemes :) Tom Austen would be my guilty pleasure in it.....

  2. When I saw Kidman's name, I thought "Oh no, another bad acting job." How she keeps working is beyond me.

Denial looks good and is an important film. It is absolutely shocking how many people in England and America hate Jewish people and deny the Holocaust. Peoples everywhere now seem to be looking for reasons to hate each other and it's hardly worth even setting foot on the interwebs anymore.

    1. She is not much of an actress, but her secret is in a rather great choice of roles. And she keeps away from Hollywood. Sadly, most of her roles would've been better if they went to some other actress :(

True, and it is even worse here, since we're very desperate and poor and hopeless and such things create even more bitterness and hate.... it is tragic, I'd like to fall asleep in wake up hundreds years ahead when the world cures itself

    2. Yes, hunger and desperation make fertile ground for hatred. It's easier to devalue the lives of others in such conditions.

I'm about as close to going asleep during this madness as I can. Stick to myself, don't talk to anyone, hide out in my backyard and play make believe it will all go away.

    3. that is what I'm doing too, dahlink. I don't believe it is actually good for us, living like dragons in our caves, but what is one to do in this godawful period in time? Especially now that forces of ebil are winning in all wars and on all fronts... If I had me an isolated fortress on an isolated island of my own this would be the time I'd cut all my internet and phone lines with the rest of the world....

  3. Hopefully Max Brown's character on The Royals has better luck than his character Evan on CW's Beauty and the Beast. Denial is interesting but both sides are fighting for freedom of expression in their pwn way. Though I believe the Holocaust happened.

    1. and than his character in HIEROGLYPH epic series which was cancelled before even airing LOL

Freedom of expression is being raped and abused as a concept these days.
