HOLLYWOOD SPY'S SPOTLIGHT ON "IMMORTALS" EPIC FILM OF THE YEAR WITH HENRY CAVILL, LUKE EVANS, FREIDA PINTO, KELLAN LUTZ, STEPHEN DORFF, JOHN HURT AND MICKEY ROURKE!

Are you ready for the biggest movie of the year, the feast of the cinematic season? Mindblowing Greek epic with artsy touch IMMORTALS is ready to premiere November 11th. Produced by people standing behind famous Spartan epic 300, and directed by visual master genius Tarsem Singh (the director of two of the visually most creative films in history THE FALL and THE CELL), this wonderful epic stars our new Superman Henry Cavill as the brave Theseus, our favourite Welshman Luke Evans as Zeus, John Hurt as Old Zeus,  smoking hot
Kellan Lutz as Poseidon, divinely gorgeous Isabel Lucas as Athena, Mickey Rourke as evil Hyperion, Freida Pinto as a priestess, Stephen Dorff as a wise slave,  and Daniel Sharman
as Ares.  The cast also includes a bunch of other gorgeous young people in the roles of glorious Gods and mythical heroes: Corey Sevier as Apollo, Joseph Morgan as Lysander, Greg Bryk as Nycomedes, Steve Byers as Heracles, Peter Stebbing as Hellios, Romano Orzari as Icarus, Robert Maillet as Minotaur ...
THE IMMORTAL STORY
This thrilling adventure will be set in the time after the Gods had won their mythic struggle against theTitans. But there's a new danger: Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of
soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares.
Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king’s hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But
ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man’s conflict. They remain powerless to stop Hyperion…until a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) comes forth as their only hope.
Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes. Rallying a band of fellow outsiders,
including visionary priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto) and cunning slave Stavros (Stephen Dorff), one hero will lead the uprising, or watch his homeland fall into ruin and his Gods vanish into legend.

IMMORTAL TIDBITS
Costume design is done by amazing Eiko Ishioka whom we remember by stunning and absolutely gorgeous costumes from
THE CELL, THE FALL, DRACULA and from Tarsem's upcoming film SNOW WHITE. The budget of the film was around $115 million. The first reviews from the ones who saw the film, praise the epic as having amazing story, marvelous direction, narrative depth, visionary and artsy approach to the visual look of the movie. First reviews also praise Henry Cavill's appealing portrayal of the lead character and especially Luke Evans' mature portrayal of Zeus since, although very young, he brings a very authoritative and commanding portrayal of Zeus, the king of
all Gods. The cinematography is praised as magnificent, battle scenes as legendary and impressive. The film also doesn't have cheesy lines which epics often have, and the story is said to have perfect pacing!
