Although the second season of GAME OF THRONES has finished airing recently, I'm sure you're already missing the epic show. The shooting of the third season is already under way and will again be done in Croatia and Ireland. The first new addition to the cast is British actor Clive Russell who will play Brynden 'The Blackfish' Tully, Catelyn Stark's uncle, whose skills as a warrior are of great use to Robb Stark in his continuing war efforts with the Lannisters. Meanwhile, Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Kit Harington (Jon
Snow), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and amazing Richard Madden (Robb Stark), are all coming back and will also all appear at the San Diego Comic Con to talk about the third season. According to "Digital Spy" the third run will feature ten episodes and will be adapted from parts of George R R Martin's "A Storm of Swords" book. Other new characters set to join the series include Edmure Tully, Mance Rayder, Daario Naharis, Myranda Royce, Lady Selyse Florent and Jojen Reed and Meera Reed. And don't forget to check out HOLLYWOOD SPY's spotlight on the future projects of GAME OF THRONES lead stars!
WORLD WITHOUT END TRAILER
You remember that last winter HOLLYWOOD SPY had a huge, extremely visited, spotlight on new epic mini series WORLD WITHOUT END which should air on Reelz (never heard of the channel before)
in USA, Channel 4 in UK, Shaw Media in Canada this Autumn. Below you can check out the first exclusive trailer for the series! The eight part mini series will be set 200 years after the end of THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH series which was also based on Ken Follett's book.  Produced by the producers of THE TUDORS and THE BORGIAS and Ridley Scott and his brother Tony Scott, the mini series will star Ben Chaplin, Cynthia Nixon, Rupert Evans, Miranda Richardson. Set in England during the 1300s, the series chronicles the lives of ordinary citizens as the King leads the nation into the Hundred Years' War with France, all while Europe is bracing for the Black Death. Caris
(Charlotte Riley), a visionary woman, and her lover Merthin (Tom Weston-Jones) build a community that stands up to the Crown and the church. You can also check out HOLLYWOOD SPY's exclusive talks with two of the cast members: Caroline Boulton and Simon Nader.

    1. it should be a nice event. Too bad they're not airing it during summer when there's nothing to watch, like Starz did with PILLARS two years ago.

    1. I hear you brother Blue, but how come you're on the side of the feline crown then? The alliance fights against the church and ebil monarchs :)

    2. Because he knows the feline would just eat the crown and that would be that.

    3. didn't know crowns were made of ginger bread cookies, cat!

    3. I don't like the casting of the new faces so far, all of them are some deeply mediocre actors and uninteresting faces and the plot has been boring at some points. I'm generally not a huge fan of the show (overly dark and morbid, bad casting in some parts, confusing, unfocused direction and story, not dynamic enough), I prefer Spartacus and Merlin.

  8. Game of thrones has characters galore. Still only half way through season 2 as my torrent messed up, garbage thing lol. And World Without End sure looks like one to watch.

    1. yep, I'm also watching second season right now, just finished second episode and will watch third and fourth this Sunday if I survive till then :) Let Mother Monster Gaga save Torrents and bless us with their long and prosperous work! I didn't have much trouble so far with downloads of shows, only with downloading English subtitles which I need since my sounds system in the computer isn't the best of Borg technology....

    2. You need subtitles, that sucks. But I suppose free is free haha. Yeah some came in the wrong format and my tv won't play anything other than avi, stupid junkie things.

      Delete
    3. my TV and DVD also only play Avi, but you can watch all other formats on your computer if your screen is big enough as mine is :) but computer speakers are never as nice as the TV ones, so I use subtitles to help myself a bit :)

  9. Thanks for the update on Game of Thrones, Dezz! I'm rather a huge fan of Jon Snow. Not for his adorable curly hair or anything like that...

    1. because it was aired during summer at Starz for some reason and probably didn't have great marketing. I did post trailer for it back in the days, two and more years ago, but I didn't have posters, pics..... And the buzz wasn't good, since the series was slow at moments, but it did have the most amazing actors from RufRuf Sewell to my beloved Eddie Redmayne, Sam Claflin, David Oakes..... and Ian McShane all ebil :)

  11. WWE looks awesome! I can't wait to see it. I don't know as I have Reelz, though. LOL

    1. you probably don't, sister, since we haven't even heard of it before LOL :) Way to make you channel more known by buying a big mini series :) But then again, that is how Starz started back in the days when they became popular due to Spartacus goodness :)

  12. I suppose I should find time to watch season one of Game of Thrones, eh?

    1. what? You haven't seen it yet? How do you like that show I recommended to you - the original British BEINGHUMAN?

    2. It's pretty darn good. A few...odd choices, but nothing that makes me stop watching.

      Delete
    3. I did stop watching after third season, when both the dear werewolf Russell Tovey and the naughty vampire Aidan Turner leave the show :( I didn't want to watch it without them....

      Delete
    4. But Russell was in season four! That's the only reason I'm still going to watch it, because Annie (well, the actress) drives me crazy!

      Delete
    5. then they kicked him out after that one... yep, Annie is a bit annoying, but not as annoying as Russell's horrid little girlfriend was....

    6. the one that works as a nurse whom he infested and made werewolf too :)

  13. World Without End looks good..hoping I can find it!!

  14. I have yet to watch any of these mini-series shows that come on TV. I couldn't ever begin to tell you what Thrones is about even though it seems like people are always talking about it.
Guess I'll be sticking to watching as many movies as I can--which is not many--and maybe someday I'll get around to watching a series.

Maybe someone will buy me a boxed DVD set as a gift. That reminds me: someone got me a DVD set about a Civil War TV show last Christmas and I still haven't watched that either.

  15. Oh poor Robb. I will hate to see him get butchered at the Red Wedding in the next season of A Game of Thrones. Pretty boys like that should never have to be massacred in fictional fantasy films.

I'll be honest, I haven't watched Pillars of the Earth. Maybe I should do so to prep for this upcoming masterpiece that is generating so many web hits for you.

I hope there is some good "scenery". Magic Mike really got me to realize how much I appreciate good scenery.

    1. What the hell? Tell me it's not true, how could I possibly live without my Robbsie??? I won't watch it if they kill him off!

Yep, Mikey, trust me, there's lots of glorious "scenery" in PILLARS. The series is lead by my own pet actor Eddie Redmayne and another fave of mine Sam Claflin, and you will love both, not to mention David Oakes...

  16. I started Game of Thrones; I'm intrigued...it has a Zombie?! ;D Who knew...
I'm stuck on Breaking Bad right now, but will go back to Thrones..my son says it is sooo goood! :D

Wow, this new one looks great! I, too haven't seen Pillars of the Earth...did you like it?!
This preview has me in a trance...it looks great!
