HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
I have a few television news for you today as well. First of all, it seems that after Dylan McDermott, who loved taking off his shirt in the show, AMERICAN HORROR STORY will get another famous nudist :) Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine is set to join the second season of the FX's creepy show which follows people living in strange and terrifying houses. Adam will play a contemporary character and half of a couple referred to as "The Lovers", while Zachary Quinto and Jessica Lange are set to return as well but in different roles from the first season. So, people, tell me how much you love ABC's megahit show ONCE UPON A TIME? I know you adore it like moi :) It seems that this Sunday the show will get its first guest star - Sebastian Stan, from CAPTAIN AMERICA and GOSSIP GIRL, who will play "Alice in Wonderland's" Mad Hatter. The episode will describe
how the Hatter became Mad, and his Storybrooke counterpart will also do some mad things like kidnapping Emma (Jennifer Morrison).

In another piece of TV news, super hot Olivia Wilde will return to HOUSE in the series finale. It is not known how exactly she will be brought into the story, since House has relieved her from her work and the show, but she is coming back for the final episode in May. When it comes to movie adaptations of legendary books, it seems George Orwell's famous novel 1984 will be made into a Ron Howard and Brian Grazer movie. The classic novel takes place in a dystopian society in a perpetual state of war, which in turn leads to a state of paranoia. It follows Winston Smith, who works for a government branch called the Ministry of Truth, where he alters facts and histories but secretly harbors desires of rebellion (as well as desires of a forbidden love affair).
Ah! My eyes! I don't know where to look on this post!
ReplyDeleteSTILL no sign of ONCE UPON A TIME showing here in Oz. They've been advertising it for ages but with no dates.
look at strategical spots and places, sister, that's my guideline always :)
DeleteI'm glad Olivia is returning to house :)
ReplyDeletejust for the final episode :) Hope she will say things to obnoxious House ;)
DeleteI hope Garrett H gets the lead role ~
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update...What a sexy pose...I mean of Adam...drools again ~
I hope Aaron gets it :PPPPP
Delete'tis a droolworthy day here at HOLLYWOOD SPY today :)
You know I've never been a fan of horror, but Hitchcock was very light of hand and he used the medium of black and white film to create atmosphere. I really admire Mirren and Hopkins work as well, so this is a must see.
ReplyDeleteYou know that pic of McDermott sort of shocked me Dez! As I was scrolling down the page, I thought "Oh no, he's nude!" Again, suggestion is oftentimes better than the real thing. Intriguing picture.
I love Mirren too! I love that she's a bit crazy :)
DeleteIt's not McDermott, dahling, but Adam Levine :) And you'll never see nude pics here. Not that I don't love them and enjoy them :), I do for sure, but Blogger would put a censorship on me :)) Thus the furthest we go are a few pubic hairs here, a few pubic hairs there :)))
I saw a near naked man and I forgot his name. I guess I wasn't looking at his face dear. I'll see you tonight!!
Deletehe he :)
DeleteOlivia Wilde returning to House? That's awesome news!
ReplyDeleteIt is :) She will spice up the ending
DeleteOMG Adam Levine!!!! I wish those were my hands. ;)) I will love seeing him nude on American Horror Story, I'm already panting in anticipation. BTW he's got spectacular ink. I want another tat myself.
ReplyDeleteHands? I have some other body parts in mind that I'd put there, darling :)) I didn't just say that :)
DeleteOh, Dezzy...you were naughty today.
ReplyDeleteAnd Winter's Tale sounds kind of interesting to me.
Am I not every day? :)
Delete...House has never been the same without her!
ReplyDeleteEl
it has not!
DeleteI like you picture
ReplyDeletethank you
DeleteJeez, Ron Howard would not be the first director to leap to my mind as someone who should film 1984 . . . . but we'll see!
ReplyDeletethat is my thought exactly, Debs
DeleteBe interesing to see how 1984 comes off, as this day in age that's what it seems they are literally trying to do at times. Going to start once upon a time this weekend and get caught up, so we shall see if I like it or not.
ReplyDeletehope you will like it :) I don't know what is your taste in TV shows and films, but hopefully you have a soft heart for imagination and fantasy :)
DeleteOh trust me I do, my taste is all over the place. Everything from 24 to Monk to Stargate to Xena to Buffy to Lost to Due South to Spartacus and now to this...haha..so I'm sure I'll like it. Yes I can go on forever but I will spare you..haha
Deleteyes, please spare us :PPP
DeleteGlad that you like SPARTACUS.
Thanks for the visuals...both (I'm sure you can figure out which two I speak of)! Very, very, yummy!
ReplyDeleteThat's all I'm going to say about this post....Y.U.M.M.Y!
yummy treat for my ladies
DeleteIt's silly that Wilde left and then the show announced it's last season. I bet she would have stayed if she had known.
ReplyDeletemaybe the show got cancelled since it couldn't live on without her :)
DeleteI'm the exact opposite of our Lady Anne. I love horror! But not the chop 'em up just because they're standing there kind but the kind that gets in your head and spooks you - just like American Horror Story.
ReplyDeleteI hope they do a good job with 1984; the book was fantastic.
I tried watching first two episodes and they were just pointlessly creepy and sick. No depth. But I know it has a lot of fans and it will be a hit in the second season too.
DeleteI too like 1984 and ANIMAL FARM too.
I'll have to take a look at Animal Farm. I didn't read it. I may make that my next book.
DeleteAnd, you can call me "Elle" sounds the same as "L" just looks sweeter...Mother Borg made me thing of mother board like in a computer LOL - that was my payment to you - I gift you my name of "Elle" =P
OK, we shall call you Ellsie :)
DeleteWow, so much news! I'm excited to see the making of Hitchcock's Psycho. He's my favourite director and getting into his brain is a writer's dream for me. He was the master scene maker. In my opinion, if you can write like Hitchcock directs, you'll be a master writer. Can't wait for the return of Wilde on House.
ReplyDeletehe was a master of suspense :)
DeleteI was going to say something more eloquent about a new 1984 film, but the John Hurt-starring version from, oddly enough, 1984 was pretty damn spectacular.
ReplyDeleteThen I saw Olivia. Thank you, DEZ.
I haven't seen the film, but I hear it's quite a legendary one.
DeleteI've seen a lot of animated films on Orwell's ANIMAL FARM since the situation in the book totally depicts a lot of the things that happened politically in Romania, Serbia....
what a hot pic..so sexy
ReplyDeletehotness every day :)
DeleteCurious to see how the 1984 movie goes. It was a really good book.
ReplyDeletehe's a great writer
DeleteDezzzy the Dazzzling Dezzzmeister - I can tell wilde Olivia is a bit cold in that pic. You may have noticed and therefore decided to post it.
ReplyDeleteAs for Ron Howard and BG doing a remake of the incredibly so not impressive original.... sounds like a mighty fine idea to me. I'm blue but that original 1984 movie made me purple. The only thing that springs to mind is a 'love scene' with a lot of... um... hair. No thank you ma'am.
which signs tell you she's a bit cold? Please elaborate :)))) Or is she giving you a bit of a cold :)))
DeleteInteresting stuff, thank you! In these days of remote-controlled Web cams, the 24-hour news cycle, and warrantless wiretapping, 1984 is more relevant than ever. It doesn't seem quite so fictional anymore.
ReplyDeletebe welcome, glad you liked it and welcome to HOLLYWOOD SPY, hope to see you here often :)
