SPOTLIGHT ON THE FUTURE PROJECTS OF ALL "GAME OF THRONES" STARS: KIT HARRINGTON, LENA HEADEY, EMILIA CLARKE, RICHARD MADDEN, HARRY LLOYD, NIKOLAJ COSTER WALDAU

In honour of the second season of one of the most popular epic shows GAME OF THRONES scheduled for April 1st with the episode called "The North Remembers", I've decided to do a spotlight on the future projects of some of the most popular stars from the cast of this brilliant show. As a special addition you can watch the sixth trailer bellow, promoting the beginning of the second season in which they've used SEVEN DEVILS song from Florence And The Machine. Enjoy the spotlight :)
LENA HEADEY
Her Royal Incestuous Naughtiness queen Cersei Lannister will be busy after she finishes plotting and doing evil in GAME OF THRONES. Lena Headey, whom you also remember as queen Gorgo from 300
, will go a bit sf in JUDGE DREDD, the remake of the famous sf film about a future society in which cops are also the judges who sentence people immediately when they catch them. Beside Karl Urban who takes the lead role, Lena will play the main villain Madeline Ma-Ma Madrigal who deals the reality altering drug and runs a whole criminal mafia. She will also join Michael Sheen, Ioan Gruffudd and Sam Neil in fantasy film MARIAH MUNDI AND THE MIDAS BOX a lavish adventure about a teen girl who unites with the strange adventurer 'Captain Charity' in order to find her kidnapped brother. The trail leads them away from the smog of Victorian London to the mysterious Prince Regent, a majestic hotel on a small Island at the furthest edge of the Empire. Inside it's lavish exterior lays an amazing and unusual steam powered world, beyond Mariah's wildest dreams.
HARRY LLOYD
Amazing British star Harry Lloyd who was absolutely brilliant as evil Dragon prince Viserys Targaryen died in the first season but his career is moving on since we've seen him as young Dennis Thatcher in THE IRON LADY,
and this year we shall watch him in BBC's GREAT EXPECTA- TIONS series, which is very interesting since Harry is in real life the great great great grandson of Charles Dickens. Next year we shall watch him next to Mark Strong and Vera Farmiga in CLOSER TO THE MOON, a very interesting film about a Romanian police officer who teams up with a small crew of bank robbers to pull off a heist by convincing everyone at the scene of the crime that they are only filming a movie. As I reported earlier this week he will also take part in BBC's epic TV project HENRY IV in which he will star next to Jeremy Irons as the king and Tom Hiddleston as the prince.
EMILIA CLARKE
Another lovely lady whom we love a lot in GAME OF THRONES is definitely Emilia Clarke who plays the Dragon queen and the khaleese
Daenerys Targaryen, who will try to take her rights in the second season after the death of her hubs Khal Drogo. We shall also watch Milie Clark next to HOLLYWOOD SPY's favourite Karl Urban in OVERDRIVE in which he and Ben Barnes play a pair of handsome and adventurous brothers, known for being high-profile car thieves, who travel to the South of France looking for new challenges and come across a tough local crime boss. She will also star in British film SPIKE ISLAND next year about a rising indie band which travels to Spike Island, Cheshire, in May of 1990 to see The Stone Roses.

RICHARD MADDEN
Another young British guy we also adore, Richard Madden, who plays the brave and magnificent Robb Stark who will lead the army to free his sisters in the second season, has had a brilliant gig in BBC's
equally brilliant project BIRDSONG earlier this year in which always flawless Eddie Redmayne played an English WWI soldier who fights in the horrific trenches of northern France haunted by the memories of his forbidden love affair with a French woman. I really hope we shall see more of Richard Madden in the upcoming years, even though he has been a bit in the shadow of Kit Harrington in GAME OF THRONES, and he deserves to be in the spotlight himself.
KIT HARRINGTON
Probably the most popular member of the cast, Kit Harrington has really earned a lot playing John Snow who will have to face strange
forces up in the frozen North in the 2nd season of GAME OF THRONES. As you know he got the royal role in ARTHUR AND LANCELOT epic which then got cancelled, but we shall still watch him in another fantasy epic THE SEVENTH SON next to Julianne Moore, Ben Barnes and Jeff Bridges as the seventh son of a seventh son who learns how to exorcise ghosts, contain witches, and bind boggarts in the 1700s. He will also star this year in SILENT HILL: REVELATION the story of a girl who has to run from strange demonic forces. The cast includes Sean Bean, Carrie Anne Moss, Malcolm McDowell...
NIKOLAJ COSTER WALDAU
Probably the most charismatic member of the male cast in GAME OF THRONES is Danish star Nikolaj Coster Waldau, who will continue with his evil deeds in the second season as well as Jaime Lannister,
but thanks to his dashing appearance he has scored a role in Tom Cruise's untitled sf epic about a veteran soldier sent to a distant planet, where he is to destroy the remains of an alien race. The arrival of an unexpected traveller causes him to question what he knows about the planet, his mission, and himself. He will also take the lead role in MAMA, a strange horror about a couple faced with the challenge of raising their young nieces that were left alone in the forest for 5 years.... but how alone were they?

Although we loved him heaps as Khal Drogo, Jason Momoa isn't returning since his character is dead, but it seems that after last year's CONAN THE BARBARIAN he is about to become an action star since he will join Sylvester Stallone in BULLET TO THE HEAD playing a cop and a hitman who form an alliance in order to bring down their common enemy after watching their respective partners die. Meanwhile, Josef Altin, who plays Pypar from the Night Watch and whom I must thank for being a dear friend of HOLLYWOOD SPY and a very nice lad, has recently auditioned for a role in LES MISERABLES and he might join Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe in the film.

  1. Nice to see Momoa getting some roles, always liked him in Stargate Atlantis. The sevens are back once more too, those dreaded sevens of seven of seven..haha...Judge Dredd, haha that first one was pretty bad.

    1. the only thing bad about the new DREDD is that we won't get to see Karl Urban's face at all, he will wear the helmet all the time :(

    2. I started reading the books after watching the series. A friend had recommended them to me long ago but I never followed up on it. Unfortunately, after having seen the show, I couldn't get into the book. Oh, well, that's what television is for LOL

    1. and how do you like it so far? :)
They do look different without their medieval outfits, don't they? :) I didn't recognise Richard Madden in this pic either, but he looks so lovely in it, I just had to use it in the post :) And most of them have blond hairs in the show.

    2. LOVING it so far. Very difficult to translate to film, I would think, but they are staying true to the book.

  8. Great photo of Kit Harrington Dezz :) I may even watch Silent Hill 2...maybe. Fantastic that they're all so busy, I love the GoT cast and I'm glad we'll see them in different roles. I'm looking forward to Great Expectations soon and still hoping to see Birdsong. Very happy for Harry Lloyd who is one of my favorites since I first saw him in Robin Hood.

I adore Harry Lloyd too, he is so magnetic and charismatic. Nobody can beat British boys on film

  9. don't think it's fair to say Richard Madden has been in Kit Harington's shadow--since filming the first season, he filmed both Birdsong, UK series, Sirens, and indie short, Strays. he's just pursued tv versus film.

    1. I also love Madden more than Harington, but Kit is about to get into Hollywood with big projects, which Madden, sadly doesn't have :( But we do adore him heaps!

  11. Harry Lloyd, the great great grandson of Charles Dickens, now that is an interesting bit of information. Perfect that he would play in Great Expectations. And Harrington Kit, well he's just delicious, I could eat him right up.

  13. Bullet to the head sounds like fun. Unless you get that bullet, of course. I grew up with Stallone and his special articulation. I always felt that both he, Mr Terminator and even Robert de Niro made the same mistake: they wanted to be funny. I just hope Stallone has given up his career as a comedian. ;)
