A young Norwegian farmer with a wife and family, Ragnar is deeply frustrated by the unadventurous policies of his local chieftan, Earl Haraldson, who continues to send his Vikings raiders east every
summer, to the Baltic states and Russia, whose populations are as materially poor as themselves. The cast will also include Clive Standen, Gustaf Skarsgard, Gabriel Byrne, George Blagden ...

ReplyDeleteHappy 2013. Which I keep typing 2012 and having to retype. My gosh.
Off to get some dough together for the morning's bake. Cheers and boogie boogie.
he starred in RED RIDING HOOD and was painfully horrible, even KStew and RPats are Oscarworthy actors compared to him.
DeleteStarting the new year with some dough isn't a bad prospect :))) Happy 2013!
Change of plans, not sure if I'll get to make dough before work. But if not, I'll do some kind of bake after work.
DeleteNever saw Red Riding Hood.
It's good you didn't :)

ReplyDeletehope it will be a good show, Francis, and thanks!
DeleteLooking forward to The White Queen, sounds marvelously devious. Costumes should be fun and it won't be the snooze fest of Downtown Abbey.
ReplyDeleteThe gamers will love the Vikings if nothing else for the shields. Yeah, it's a huge deal to paint those shields!
You is Santa's little elf darling.
I'm getting offline for the most part. I've got about 50 blogs to comment on and no time to even reply to comments on my blog. The Hubby awaits my loving ministrations.
Hoping next year is better and that your back gets better to darling.
I expect something similar to THE TUDORS :) Hope the cast won't disappoint, I do like the look of the lead actress so far, can't wait for a trailer.
DeleteForget the blogosphere, dahlink, and get busy with the hubs while the house is empty :)
There are so many good historical epics coming up I'm almost tempted to order cable television again.
ReplyDeleteAnd look at you, shaking your tail feathers with Santa. Happy, happy New Year, Dezzy!! Cheers to a peaceful and prosperous 2013!!
tones of the new ones as you can see in my FEATURED EPIC SHOWS segment in the sidebar :) We are facing the golden age of epic shows, and I'm praying that none of them disappoint even though tones of them such as CAMELOT, GAME OF THRONES, BORGIAS weren't good enough or not good at all :(
DeleteMe does have a pretty tail feather :PP
