CHRIS HEMSWORTH & ANNE HATHAWAY IN SPIELBERG'S "ROBOPOCALYPSE"? TOM HARDY IN "EVEREST"! "VAMPS" TRAILER WITH ALICIA SILVERSTONE, DAN STEVENS, SIGOURNEY WEAVER, MALCOLM MCDOWELL, KRISTEN JOHNSTON

You will see her later this year acting and singing with her head shaved in LES MISERABLES, but Anne Hathaway has another possible project in plan according to "Deadline". It appears that she and Chris The Thor Hemsworth are in talks to take the lead roles in Steven Spielberg's movie adaptation of ROBOPO- CALYPSE book by Daniel H. Wilson which was sold for adaptation almost two years before it hit bookshelves. The story revolves around the struggles of mankind to survive after a worldwide robot uprising. The epic movie is scheduled to appear in cinemas in April 2014, while the shooting should start next year.
HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
Some time ago, I've informed you about EVEREST project which
will deal with explorer George Mallory who was the first man to reach the top of Mount Everest. The story also deals with his obsession with the mountain, and his rivalry with fellow climber George Finch. Mallory and his climbing partner Sandy Irvine failed in two previous attempts in 1921 and 1922. They were spotted near the summit on their third attempt in 1924 before they disappeared. Their remains were discovered in 1999. Now "Deadline" reports that Tom Hardy is in talks to play the lead role in this film to be directed by Doug Liman.

VAMPS TRAILER
Yet another uber weird trailer to be released this week is for strange comedy VAMPS which hits cinemas later this year and has Alicia
Silverston and Krysten Ritter playing two girls who, as upstanding, politically correct Extended Life Forms (ELFs), fit twelve-step Sanguines Anonymous meetings to help curb the temptation of human blood in between their clubbing and dating schedules. When love steals into each of their lives, the pair’s destiny is set on a new course and they must make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality, and maybe much more. If you didn't get that, they are a pair of party loving vampires who still have mortal love problems. This strange story has a rather stellar cast also including Kristen Johnston, Malcolm McDowell, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Stevens, Justin Kirk.

    1. If you mean my pet turtle Elsie, she is out partying with some Italian guys, Donatello, Raphaello, Leonardo and Michelangello...

    2. That's the one! Isn't she too old to be hanging out with teenagers?

    3. she's always been into younger hunks, you know....

    4. My Elsie is ever young and has excellent taste in men and you're friends are scrumptious darling. I love what they can do with their hands. I did like Donatello's David, he was so lithe and pretty. Such a contrast to Michelangello's. Both gorgeous sculpts but for different reasons. Those men knew how to make men look so yummmy!

    5. you do know me was speaking of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, yes, darling? :PP

And imagine how much joy they had staring at the live models who posed for their famous sculptures :)

    7. ahaha, then you didn't get the joke, darling :P
They are characters from an animated show, comic book and a film. Four teenage mutant turtles who are good in martial arts and defend the city while living in the sever system, they all have names of famous painters :)

    8. I have just burst out laughing at how crazily twisted this comment has turned. It went from Dan looking for my poor innocent turtle, to you joking about the TMNT (coming to Nickledeon this week) to Anne talking about Michelangello - completely unexpected!! Hilarious!!

    9. it was hilarious when I realized our dear Annzie didn't know who TMNT were :P Such delight :)

    1. Apparently ROBOPOCALYPSE has some original twist which is why it was sold so quickly and has a buzz around it, I've never checked the book reviews to see what the readers say

      Delete
    2. yep it seems it was sold for a movie adaptation solely based on a book blurb even before the book was written itself :)

    3. darn! Now that's how to write a book blurb!

  12. I won't go see Vamps in the movies but I will watch it when it comes out on the movies channels. It's one of those comedies that looks fun and quirky and has enough quality stars to make me want to see it, just not pay $11 to see it in the theatre.

I'm one of those people who borderlines on the fear that ROBOPOCALYPSE could really happen.
