NEW 'ALLIED' POSTER
BRAD PITT & MARION COTILLARD
Two new posters for you today, starting with the first one for World War II movie ALLIED starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard which should hit cinemas later this November around the world also starring Matthew Goode.
Set in 1942, it sees Brad Pitt playing an intelligence officer in
North Africa who encounters a female French Resistance fighter on a
deadly mission behind enemy lines played by Cotillard. When they reunite
in London, their relationship is tested by the pressures of war. I must
admit that poster looks cheap as hell and beyond.
NEW 'LION' POSTER
DEV PATEL AND NICOLE KIDMAN
Another touching drama that has just got a new poster is the adaptation of Larry Buttrose novel LION in which Dev Patel plays a grown up version of a five year old Indian boy who gets lost on the streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometers from home. He survives many challenges before being adopted by a couple in Australia; 25 years later, he sets out to find his lost family. Nicole Kidman plays his adoptive mother with David Wenham as the father. The movie will start its release November in North America, in December in Europe and from January in UK and Australia and Germany.
You know me I like war movie but this is not rocking my boat!
ReplyDeletetoo much of uber botoxed Brad!
DeleteSomehow I can't imagine Brad in this, but perhaps that is just me.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine him in most of his roles :) Him and Clooney....

DeleteYou are right, that poster is utterly boring. Then again, most things with Brad usually are.
ReplyDeleteand so ugly, all black, stupid angle, the title ugly and put up there above... utter ugliness
DeleteI'm pretty sure a grade schooler could have made a better poster using Gimp lol
Deleteindeed
DeleteThat Allied poster looks like a bad case of photo shop. I'll just forgo that trailer. Lion however has a nice looking poster and it's trailer brought tears into my eyes. At first I was like great another Indian story with the boy adopted by white people. But this might actually have some edge to it.
ReplyDeleteit is ugly as hell, I can't believe it is an official poster... maybe it isn't?
DeleteI've always loved both Brad and Nichole; but lately neither seems to be able to pick up a decent movie role.
ReplyDeleteNicole usually gets roles which would be better suited for other actresses
DeleteThe WWII film looks intriguing.
ReplyDeleteglad to hear it
DeleteI want to see the Dev Patel one...looks like a new story..somewhat )
ReplyDeleteHope you will like it
DeleteHow come Bead Pity loves war movies so much?
ReplyDeletemust be all the war in his private life, he does live with the Hitler... or he did....
