GLORIOUS FULL LENGTH "STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS" TRAILER WITH CHRIS PINE, KARL URBAN, ZACHARY QUINTO, BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH! STACEY JAY'S "JULIET IMMORTAL" TO BE MADE INTO ABC TV SHOW

You've probably noticed that the story about ROMEO AND JULIET is trendy again in Hollywood so it's no surprise that ABC Family is preparing
 paranormal version of it. It will be a television adaptation of Stacey Jay's novel JULIET IMMORTAL. In the novel, according to "The Hollywood Reporter" Juliet was murdered by her new husband, Romeo, as a sacrifice to ensure his immortality. What he didn't anticipate, however, is that Juliet would be granted eternity and spend her days fighting her former beloved to preserve romantic love and the lives of the innocent. It is interesting that the same network is preparing another love story - TV show out of Nicholas Sparks THE FALLS which is a modern re-imagining of Romeo and Juliet!

Last week I showed you the teaser for science fiction sequel STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, and now a longer trailer of J. J. Abram's film has been released to please the crowds. It is interesting that the
 first nine minutes of the film have been showing in front of screenings of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" (which is breaking records currently with more than $200 million earned worldwide in only few
 days) since December 13. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for,
leaving  our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships
will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew. The old cast returns - Karl Urban, Chris Pine, John Cho, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto with Benedict Cumberbatch as the villain.

    All this teasing with the Star Trek clips is killing me. It's another six months still! Sigh. That was a fun peek though. :)

    WOW! It looks like it's going to be a good one. I do think Pine was the right choice for Kirk because his eyes have that same intensity. There are just so many possibilities since they split the timeline. The references to the original time line will be fun to find and in the trailer I've already spotted two.

    We are so going to own this when it comes out on DVD. The Hubby and I are about to start watching Next Gen from the beginning again.

      I do cherish special feelings for NEXT and NEW GENERATION. I grew up with them and since they were airing at British Sky One each evening at 18h, I used to eat my sandwich for dinner in front of my telly with the Enterprise crew :) And I used to go to sleep in the evening watching HOME IMPROVEMENT and GOLDEN GIRLS at Disney Channel. Good times.... kids now eat and sleep with FIST OF ZEN and JACKASS :((

      I loved the Golden Girls and The Spawn adores Betty White. I've seen Home Improvement, but didn't really like it. That Tim guy is a coke head who beat his wife and that put me off him.

      Parents who let their children watch such things as Jackass are shite. Never heard of Fist of Zen.

      I didn't know that about Tim, I always had deep respect for him, now I must investigate that :((( The only thing I sometimes don't like in his new sitcom is that sometimes they are a bit republican when it comes to his character in it.

      It's good thing you don't know what FIST OF ZEN is, darling, it's a truly stupid and deeply shameful show in which people humiliate themselves for a small amount of money.

    I won't be tuning in for Juliet Immortal - I really dislike love stories and I'll be surprised if this one is well received - sounds kind of lame and contrived :p

      Me too, after a long time the first STAR TREK was rather lovely and refreshing and I loved how it focused on the crew instead of some villains.

    Star Trek is going to be a thrilling and deep film. I can't wait. Of course the best things about it are Karl and Zachary. ;)) Juliet Immortal might be pretty interesting as R&J has always been one of my fave plays.

    Blasted Paramont! Messing with the clips!! I'll get them somehow...after I see the movie in what? The summer?

    I can't wait for this movie! "Khan!!" I'm so excited for all of the characters and as I said before, Simon Pegg is a favorite of mine. Plus, they are sneaking in a website into the trailers that I'm checking out today. Goodness, I have to admit it. I'm a trekkie but only kinda.

      I never really understood studios and TV channels which ban trailers for their programmes and films, especially when they're banned in certain countries. As if I'm not promoting them but myself while posting clips.
