1ST 'PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES' TRAILER WITH JOHNNY DEPP, GEOFFREY RUSH, JAVIER BARDEM, ORLANDO BLOOM, BRENTON THWAITES

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5
 FIRST TRAILER IS RELEASED!
The only thing I have for you today is the first teaser trailer that Disney has released for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES! The fifth movie in the adventure saga is to set sail May 26th next year with Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush and Orlando Bloom returning to their roles, with the addition of Brenton Thwaites and Javier Bardem!

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES will follow Captain Jack Sparrow once again in a tough spot when he encounters deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem). The ghosts and Salazar have escaped from the Devil's Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea, including Jack. Sparrow's only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artefact that will give its possessor total control over the seas. Geoffrey Rush returns as one legged pirate Barbossa, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner after being absent from previous instalments, Kevin McNally is Joshamee Gibbs and Stephen Graham is Scrum, David Wenham is Scarfield. Kaya Scodelario takes the female lead as an astronomer. Paul McCartney will have a cameo in the movie as well.

  1. Interesting. Poor Jack. He has a way of ticking people off, doesn't he? lol

  2. Things must be slow on the ground for Orlando Bloom if he's returning to the Pirates franchise.

  4. Definitely looks great. Hopefully has a story to match. Next year might be nice box office sailing for the only pirate movie on the big screen that mainstream movie goers care about today.

  6. It could be fun, or it could be really awful. I did enjoy the first three for the most part.

  7. Like you, the first time I watched the series I fell asleep. I tried again a few years ago and actually ended up loving them. Jason hasn't see one yet, and I doubt he'd watch a 3 hour film with me, but he LOVES the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney. I'll be looking forward to the latest installment. Javier Bardem is yummy!

  9. Hi, I just tried to comment on today's post, but I wasn't able to leave a comment. I don't know why. Maybe it's my computer. I see that two people already left comments so it must not be a problem on your end. I even tried to leave my comment in the reply section to one of their comments ... but nothing happening. So, If it's okay, I'm commenting here. The WW2 period television show you discussed in your post caught my attention. It sounds great. I'm really interested in WW2 shows. I also noticed on another post that your mention a remake of Dynasty is coming back. A blast from the 80's past. Fun.
