Meanwhile, you can also check out the first trailer for a movie in which Katherine Heigl and Alexis Bledel play a lesbian couple. Tom Wilkinson also stars in JENNY'S WEDDING in which Jenny Farrell (Katherine Heigl) is getting married. But how will her straight-laced family react when they find out that the woman they thought was their daughter’s roommate is actually her fiancée? As the old fashioned Farrells attempt to come to terms with the prospect of a surprise daughter in law, they face a difficult choice: either adapt with the times or risk being left behind.

  1. That was an extremely short clip on The Badlands Dezzy :( I seem to be watching all my TV viewing on AMC, A&E, History, and TNT lately. I like the mini series type editions they've been putting out. Kinda like a long short story.

Jenny's wedding looks heartwarming/controversial. Good timing too. Personally I think fighting against gay marriage is like fighting against inter-racial marriage. Nothing wrong with either relationship.

    1. Twas just an early teaser, still no regular trailer :( We might get it in a week or two since they will be at Comic Con. I'm a fan of mini series too which is why I adore all BBC, ITV and Channel 4 series from UK

  2. I'm ready for the Badlands and hope it's available via streaming or Hulu because I don't get the AMC channel right now but Badlands seems like it might be exciting to watch.

It's hard for me to believe that Alexis Bledel is in a movie like this, especially costarring with Katherine Heigl because they seem like complete opposites from an industry standpoint. Katherine is polarizing...people either like her or loathe her. Alexis is adored by critics and audiences. I'm still glad to see her spread her wings a little bit with movie roles as well as the type of material she's trying out on the big screen, though I might be biased due to my fondness for 'Gilmore Girls.'

    1. Fingers crossed, it seem to have such interesting characters.
I adored GILMORE GIRLS too... one of the, if not the, last positive and heartwarming series before TV turned into torture porn and mindless violence.....

    2. Oh well... gay.... straight.... it's all the same. But it'd better be an original story. Yes?

  6. Man, now I am missing Gilmore Girls all over again. One of the best tv shows I have ever seen. Jason even watched that series with me, even though a lot of guys think it was chick show.

I'll enjoy seeing Alexis in Jenny's wedding, even if she's not "Rory" anymore.

    1. It was a really well written show with dialogues we haven't seen on TV ever since... I'm sad that none of the two of them became big TV stars after it.

    2. I loved the witty dialogue. I think Lauren Graham did an amazing job in Parenthood. I thought Alexis would have had a bigger career, but sadly it wasn't the case. Hope this film opens more opportunities for her. She's such a beauty and seems so sweet!

    3. Lauren should've become a huge romcom movie star too if you ask me.... I haven't seen her this year in Matthew Perry's ODD COUPLE since I got bored with it after only two episodes :) She was supposed to be his ex wife in it

  7. I look forward to watch Jenny's Wedding.

    2. And there's a good reason why they're bound to be flops. CLICK! (Yes, again.)

    3. I'd agree on her not being funny and not even being cute :) There's something cold about her. don't know what it is
