ANGRIEST MAN IN BROOKLYN
MILA KUNIS AND ROBIN WILLIAMS
Deadline reports that Lionsgate has picked up North American rights to THE ANGRIEST MAN IN BROOKLYN, in which Robin Williams portrays New Yorker Henry Altmann, whose bad day gets worse when he’s told he has just 90 minutes to live. Mila Kunis stars as the doctor who scrambles to find Altmann and to get him into surgery as he goes on a panicked spree through Brooklyn to right all of the wrongs in his life. You can currently watch Robin Williams' delightful humour in hit sitcom THE CRAZY ONES with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Mila Kunis also has JUPITER ASCENDING film next year with Channing Tatum, Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean and James D'Arcy: In a universe where humans are near the bottom of the evolutionary ladder, a young destitute human woman is targeted for assassination by the Queen of the Universe because her very existence threatens to end the Queen's reign.

ReplyDeletefingers crossed, since most of this years new shows weren't or haven't been overly brilliant
DeleteI don't know, for some reason Almost Human hasn't generated any interest for me. I've read about it, and seen the commercials a few dozen times, but it just looks like an annoying retread of a story that's been told before.
ReplyDeleteEverest sounds like it could have some potential.
And yet the producers say it will be totally different and that it will bring something new. I don't know either, but I will give it a go for Karl Urban
DeleteAlmost Human, yes please!! Really am excited to catch that one. Will be watching. :)
ReplyDeleteHope it will be great.... Luanne, I really need a good new show since most of the new ones have left me disappointed :(
DeleteI know what you mean. But it's Karl Urban. I really would just sit and watch him wash a car every Monday night. Wouldn't even have to take his shirt off. :P
DeleteYes, I have faith in him that he wouldn't accept a role in a bad show.
Delete"A bromantic Blade Runner" -- LOL!
ReplyDeletewe do love a bit of bromance :)
Deletemila... that film is filming like ten minutes from my house... she is one hot monkey. i am sort of interested in almost human, it seems like i'robot.
ReplyDeleteand you're telling me you haven't been lurking around the sets? :)
DeleteYes, I would think Retro would have some pictures by now.
Deletehe had them when Superman was filming there
DeleteI like Karl Urban, and ALMOST HUMAN seem like a decent looking show, but it will not be BLADE RUNNER.
ReplyDeleteWe positively adore Karl Urban!
DeleteIs Mila gonna hook up with Channing in Jupiter Ascending? If so that will be worth the admission price just to see that rockin' hot coupling!!!
ReplyDeleteI think she will, since he kinda saves her in the film
DeleteI must admit "Almost Human" is looking and sounding good!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that it turns out good!
DeleteI'm really looking forward to Almost Human :)
ReplyDeleteme too, Lynda!
DeleteI started off not liking the trailer for Almost Human due to the torrent of gunfire (gets a bit tiresome), however, by the end, methinks I may quite enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteIt's got Kara Urban in it after all :)
Yep, we don't like gunfire, but I'm hoping the show will raise some interesting moral and human questions like THE WALKING DEAD does, for example....
DeleteHe is our favourite Kiwi (of course, after my deeply beloved Craig Parker) :)
Followed up swiftly by me :)
Deletewell, if you look as good as Craig in a Roman toga..... :)
DeleteHaha!
Delete:)
DeleteYay! A new Robin William's movie! I am loving him in The Crazy Ones!
ReplyDeletehe is the only bright part of that sitcom!
DeleteAngriest Man looks interesting. I'm sure I'll end up watching it.
ReplyDeleteI'm bad at catching shows, but Almost Humans looks good too.
Those are two promising projects, Medeia
DeleteOoh, good ones coming. I especially want to see Mal.
