by Susan Ee. Six weeks after angels of the apocalypse descend to demolish the modern world, street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When warrior angels fly away with a helpless little girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back... even if that means making a deal with an enemy angel Raffe, a warrior who has been left bleeding and wingless. Having only each other to rely on for survival, the two journey towards the angel's stronghold where she must risk everything to rescue her sister and he must decide whether to put himself at the mercy of his enemies for the chance to be made whole again.
NEW "EPIC" PICTURES
Check this out, my little freaks, I have fresh new pictures from next year's most anticipated animated feature EPIC which hits cinemas
May 2013. As you remember from HOLLYWOOD SPY's extensive spotlight on the film, directed by ICE AGE's Chris Wedge this animated adventure will describe a battle set deep in the forest between
the forces of good and evil. EPIC will actually tell the story of a teenage girl who finds herself magically transported into a secret world, where
she must band together with a rag-tag team of whimsical characters to save their world - and to also save the real world. The film will feature rather stunning voice cast which will be filled with music stars
including Beyoncé Knowles as Queen Tara, Colin Farrell as Ronin, Josh Hutcherson as Nod, Amanda Seyfried as Mary Katherine,
Johnny Knoxville as Mandrake, Aziz Ansari as Mub, rap star Pitbull as Bufo, Jason Sudeikis as Bomba and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler as Nim Galuu.
NOW YOU SEE ME TRAILER
theatres next January starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Isla Fisher and Woody Harrelson. Coming from the CLASH OF THE TITANS director Louis Leterrier and with the tagline - "Four amazing magicians, three impossible heists, one billion dollars, this is no illusion" - the dynamic thriller revolves around FBI agents who are trying to track down a team of illusionists who pull of daring bank heists during their performances using their magical tricks after which they reward their audiences with the money in a Robin Hood way.
That Now You See Me trailer looks amazing!
ReplyDeletehey, Clarissa, are you back? We missed you, how are things in Canada/Mexico? :)
DeleteLove those pics from Epic. So beautiful. Not sure about Now You See Me. If they are going to have lines like "to do magic you have to be the smartest guy in the room," then it better have a very smart script. Just saying. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I will lurv NOW YOU SEE ME because the Robin Hood concept delights me especially in today's world of corporate tyranny and society enslaved by everhungry bankers and evil politicians. We need some magicians to give us social justice :PP
DeleteNow You See Me looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteit sure does :)
DeleteThat trailer is awesome. First I've heard of that movie - now it's on my list.
ReplyDeleteit's brilliant, isn't it? :)
Deletewell isn't that just crispy... thank you for the solid post...
ReplyDeletecrispy with salt and paprika and extra fatty....
Deleteheck yes!
Deletestrange that zombies like it crispy, I thought they like is mushy :)
DeleteNow You See Me is going to be great. Just look at that cast. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, two men whose careers I've followed since I was a little girl working together. Such professionals both of them.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures for Epic are just so pretty. It's going to be a delightful treat.
AngelFall is in the genre of The Hunger Games I think. Or am I wrong darling.
I do like Caine, Freeman not so much because he is such a creepy idiot privately with all those scandals of his :(
DeleteEPIC will cure our souls with green beauty :)
You're not wrong darling, I was thinking whether to post it or not, but didn't have a choice since this week has been extremely poor in any movie news :( I barely have something to post for tomorrow.
I don't know anything about Freemans private life. I thought he was an okay person. I'll have to find out what you're talking about.
DeleteYou know that horrid Twilight thing has come out and they've already arrested a man for planning a mass killing in a theatre for opening day. Horrible things happen and the world asks itself "Why?" When we raise our children in a culture full of violence we beget violence.
Things like Epic serve as a balance for all of us.
he cheated on his wife with their adopted granddaughter... it was a huge scandal, they've been married for half a century or something like that....
DeleteYes, and I keep reading about arrested criminals and maniacs in whose houses and flats the police keeps finding Joker masks and DARK KNIGHT DVDs.... Nobody listens to me, Annzie about the dangers of such irresponsible crap....
I saw the trailer for Oz on the big screen today. Looks so awesome, I remember when you posted it a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteyep, I posted the second trailer earlier this weekend and the first one earlier this year :)
DeleteWow! Now You See Me looks incredibly cool and amazing. I have got to see it.
ReplyDeleteEpic looks so adorable, I've got to see that too. :) And especially because my husband is doing one of the voices.
isn't it amazing? I'd love to be in that magician robbers crew :)
DeleteI'm guessing your hubs will be someone very crazy among the characters :)
I like the sound of Angelfall, especially if Raimi is behind the whell on this one :)
ReplyDeleteJamie

DeleteThe trailer is good, I'll have to see that one!
ReplyDeleteit's a good one, isn't it?
DeleteWow Dezzie! Great post...I'm digging everything!!
ReplyDeleteglad to hear it, it's been an extremely slow week in movie news world and I've had troubles finding new info :) Don't even know what to post tonight :(
DeleteWhy is every new movie named [something] + "fall"?...
ReplyDeletebecause the apocalypse is close...
Delete*jumping up and down*
ReplyDeleteEisenberg and Harrelson together again! Hooray! I can't wait to see Now You See Me, it looks fantastic. That may deserve an actual trip to the theatre. =)
