  TRAILER FROM EHRENGARD

THE ART OF SEDUCTION MOVIE

The movie will stream September 9th

We have announced this one years ago when it was revealed that the queen of Denmark will be creating costumes for it (which is funny given that the costumes look horrible and ridiculously ugly in the trailer as if they were done by an amateur), but now we have first trailer from EHRENGARD: THE ART OF SEDUCTION movie from Bille August. Based on a Karen Blixen book the film will star Sidse Babett Knudsen, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Alice Bier Zandén and Emilie Kroyer Koppel, and will launch globally on Netflix September 9th! While searching for a suitable future Princess, Mr Cazotte teaches the timid and introverted Crown Prince Lothar(Emil Aron Dorph) the art of seduction and lovemaking. But their plan soon backfires, when an heir is conceived out of wedlock and the royal family has to seek refuge in the castle of Rosenbad. Here, as rivals within the royal family close in on their scheme, Cazotte himself falls in love with Ehrengard (Alice Esther Bier Zandén), the maid of honor, and gradually learns that in fact, he’s no expert on love at all.

  LENA HEADEY TO LEAD

THE ABANDONS EPIC SERIES

Lena Headey will play Fiona

News coming from Netflix is that Lena Headey has been set as lead in Kurt Sutter's new Western series THE ABANDONS set in the 1850s. It follows a group of diverse, outlier families pursuing their Manifest Destiny in 1850s Oregon when a corrupt force of wealth and power, coveting their land, tries to force them out. These abandoned souls, the kind of lost souls living on the fringe of society, unite their tribes to form a family and fight back. In this bloody process, “justice” is stretched beyond the boundaries of the law. THE ABANDONS will explore that fine line between survival and law, the consequences of violence, and the corrosive power of secrets, as this family fights to keep their land. Headey will play Fiona, a strong, devout matriarch who, unable to have her own children, took in four orphans to create her own family. Driven by a higher purpose, and a strong-willed Irish temper, her faith and love for her family trump all. Sutter is also preparing historical horror movie THIS BEAST, about a trapper’s battle with an elusive beast ravaging an 18th-century English village. That one was inspired by real life French village from the 1700s.
