JOSH O'CONNOR TO LEAD
SEPARATE ROOMS GAY MOVIE DRAMA
|
Josh O'Connor is already learning Italian
|
After leading
God's Own Country, inarguably the best gay film ever,
Josh O'Connor is set to lead
Luca Guadagnino's
SEPARATE ROOMS adaptation of
Pier Vittorio Tondelli's novel. He will play 30-something Leo who travels across Milan, Paris, London and Florence, while Thomas is a young Berlin-based pianist who is temporarily living in Paris when he first intersects with Leo. After meeting in Paris, the lovers begin a long affair, meeting and traveling together in different European cities over a three-year period. The two meet when they wish, but live separately, secluding themselves in their respective loneliness, though they
often write each other. At one point, Thomas starts an affair with a girl, which makes Leo deeply jealous. Then Thomas is diagnosed with an illness that will lead to his death in his hometown of Munich.
That sounds like it might be a good storyline.

DeleteSounds a little depressing, but one I’ll look forward to seeing!
ReplyDeleteWhat is you doing up so early, dearykins?
DeleteI was waiting for my flight home. Went to Georgia, then back to Florida and had an early morning flight home from there. Going back next week to help Jason pack everything up, so if I'm up before the birds, it's because I'm waiting for my flight.
DeleteHow long is the flight from you to Florida? I've never been on a plane.
DeleteIt's only a little over 2 hours, but I had to get to the airport early to get checked in, then get through security. Flying is not my favorite, especially when I have to do it by myself. Jason tried playing seat lottery with my ticket and I was like, no sir. Get back on there and book me a window seat. Every damn time I get a middle seat I get stuck between 2 overly large people and at least one wants to talk the entire flight.
DeleteI think that is how much it takes from here to Paris or Berlin, even Moscow.
