PREMIUM SPOTLIGHT ON HULU'S WW2 SET TV SERIES WE WERE THE LUCKY ONES WITH LOGAN LERMAN AND HENRY LLOYD HUGHES

NEW HULU WW2 SERIES STARTS NEXT WEEK
New series launches next week
After Shogun which arrived in February and scored success for the streamer, Hulu will continue with historical shows in March as well launching WE WERE THE LUCKY ONES, a mini series adaptation of Georgia Hunter's best selling historical novel, from March 28th, which is next Thursday, with three opening episodes and will then stream the rest of the episodes weekly.

NEW HISTORICAL SERIES DEPICTS
 the incredible true story of one Jewish family from Poland separated at the start of World War II, determined to survive and reunite separated by long years and whole continents. The story will take viewers from Poland to Siberia, to France, to West Africa and even Brazil. Hunter based his book partially on his own family's history. 

WHO IS IN THE CAST?
Logan Lerman leads the cast that also includes Hadas Yaron, Henry-Lloyd Hughes, Amit Rahav, Sam Woolf, Anita Adam, Michael Aloni, Moran Rosenblatt, Andre Refig, Eva Feiler, Lior Ashkenazi, Robin Weigert and Ido Samuel! Julia's Erica Lipez is the showrunner.  You can also check out the trailer below and tell us what you think.

  1. I'm happy that Shogun is a success because I'm enjoying it a lot, but I'm ambivalent about this one. I fear it will be another example of the Holokitsch (as Art Spiegelman calls it) and I'm not crazy about the cast.

      Yes, the cast for this one is tad bit ridiculous, they both look like kids, washed and perfumed kids, and she looks ridiculous with those massive fugly mouth with three tons of lipstick on them in the middle of the war. It seems they were making Revlon ad not a war series.

    1. It will also be available on Disney Plus. Three Body Problems looked beyond terrible to me so I did not want to cover it here in posts.

  3. We got rid of Hulu, so this won’t be on my list, but like you said, if everyone else is excited about it, I will probably not like it anyways lol
