BBC TO AIR KIN DRAMA
STARSTUDDED IRISH MINI SERIES
BBC One will air eight part Irish mini series titled KIN which boasts quite a stellar cast: Clare Dunne, Charlie Cox, Aidan Gillen, Ciarán Hinds, Sam
Keeley, Emmett J. Scanlan and Maria Doyle Kennedy.
A boy is killed and his family embarks on a gangland war with an international cartel: a war that is impossible to win. The Kinsellas are a local crime family, while the Cunningham cartel is a vast global organisation. It is David and Goliath. Out-numbered, out-financed and out-gunned, the Kinsellas find themselves holed up in their Dublin stronghold while their businesses fail, and family members and associates are picked off. But they have something the cartel does not: the unbreakable bonds of blood and family. They are kin. In USA the series airs on AMC Plus. On BBC One it starts November 21st!
Kin streamed on Viaplay and AMC Plus in USA |
A local crime family and international gang...I hope they all went down. These days TV is trying to glorify the violence.
ReplyDeleteI have a sinister feeling it is done secretly by organised crime which is in power pretty much everywhere in an attempt to normalise crime and make it acceptable, methinks. At least that is what our dictator is doing here and we have seen how they try to normalize fellons and criminals in USA. Look at Prince Harry, killed twenty people and writes books and has fans....
DeleteThis is one I’d probably like, if it isn’t all killing and violence. I do love most things Irish, you know.
ReplyDeleteTwould be strange if you did not LOL
