LADIES OF THE 80'S
A DIVAS' CHRISTMAS ON LIFETIME
Lifetime has announced that they will be celebrating holidays this winter with LADIES OF THE 80'S: A DIVAS' CHRISTMAS festive movie which will star real life 80's TV divas Loni Anderson, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray, Donna Mills, and Nicollette Sheridan as five glamorous soap opera actresses as they reunite to share the spotlight to shoot the final Christmas episode of their long-running soap opera. The producer, Alex (Travis Burns) and director Nell (Taylor Ann Thompson), who happen to be old college friends, do their best to keep things on the rails but as the ladies come together, old rivalries resurface that threaten to tear the whole production apart. With the show nearly canceled before it even begins due to the ladies' famous diva behavior, they reluctantly agree to set aside their differences and past secrets to 'act' as if they all still love each other. When old sparks reignite between Alex and Nell, the ladies become eager to play cupid and conspire to bring the couple together. Along the way, the divas also discover that the love between them all is still very strong too. 80's pop star Tiffany will do a title song for the movie which arrives December 2nd!
This one could be fun, but it could also be a real poop show. I'm surprised they earmarked Tiffany for the song. Last I heard, she was struggling with mental health or alcoholism and couldn't remember the words to her own hits.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, that is why they called her, to give her something to do?
DeleteI hope she's doing better by now. Poor thing was a hot mess in the video that was posted not too long ago. I loved her music back in the 80's/90's. She performed in concert with Debbie Gibson, Salt N Peppa, and New Kids On The Block a few years back and I enjoyed her portion of the show.
DeleteI don't really remember her much, she wasn't a star here in Europe, although I do remember her by name.
DeleteDon't know any of these ladies..but this should be fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteMeine Got, Angie, they were all super famous in the 80s
