Lifetime has released a trailer for their new romantic comedy I'LL BE HOME FOR NATIONAL MARGARITA DAY with Maria Menounos and Taye Diggs! The 15-minute original television event, to air February 19th, tells the story of Liz (Menounos) and Sam (Diggs), former love interests who are reunited at the local Chili’s when Liz returns to her hometown, desperate to escape the big city’s overpriced margaritas. Everything seems perfect until a big-city developer’s plans to build condos threatens to ruin the town’s National Margarita Day traditions. Liz and Sam must work together to stop the developer and save National Margarita Day, rekindling their relationship in the process.
We start our spotlight on the festive movies you can catch on the telly this December with ALL I NEED FOR CHRISTMAS which arrives to Hallmark Mystery December 12th starring our dearest Dan Jeannotte. Female lead goes to Mallory Jansen who plays Maggie, a struggling singer and songwriter feeling out of touch with modern technology, who meets tech-savvy entrepreneur Archer, who has come back to town to spend the holidays alone, during a Christmas stay on her family farm, and together they learn to blend tradition with innovation to overcome personal challenges and pursue their dreams. CHRISTMAS AT THE ALPACA FARM will arrive to Lifetime December 15th with Kirsten Comerford and Matt Wells in the lead roles. Jess (Kirsten Comerford) the “Queen of Christmas Sweaters,” quits her job at the hottest fashion label in NYC, intent on winning a Christmas competition with her own line of sustainable luxury knits. Getting her hands dirty, she teams up with Andrew (Matt Wells), a single dad and struggling alpaca farmer, as she helps bring Christmas joy to the farm and love into both of their hearts.

Christmas at Plumhill Manor opens the season at Lifetime
After Hallmark and Netflix earlier this Autumn, I am spotlighting some of festive films airing this season over at Lifetime as well for you. Their season of holiday movies this year will be opened by CHRISTMAS AT PLUMHILL MANOR which airs November 16th starring our dear Kyle Pryor (you can read our exclusive interview with him here) next to Maria Menounos. She stars in the role of Margot Stone, a beautiful rising architect in New York, who discovers a magical Christmas secret in an English countryside manor she unexpectedly inherits. Experiencing Christmas across the pond may make Margot a fish out of water, but an unforeseen romance and sense of belonging give her a breathtaking new blueprint for love. The movie also stars Travis Burns, Taylor Ann Thompson, Christopher Atkins, Patrika Darbo, Alec Mapa.
Lifetime has announced that they will be celebrating holidays this winter with LADIES OF THE 80'S: A DIVAS' CHRISTMAS festive movie which will star real life 80's TV divas Loni Anderson, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray, Donna Mills, and Nicollette Sheridan as five glamorous soap opera actresses as they reunite to share the spotlight to shoot the final Christmas episode of their long-running soap opera. The producer, Alex (Travis Burns) and director Nell (Taylor Ann Thompson), who happen to be old college friends, do their best to keep things on the rails but as the ladies come together, old rivalries resurface that threaten to tear the whole production apart. With the show nearly canceled before it even begins due to the ladies' famous diva behavior, they reluctantly agree to set aside their differences and past secrets to 'act' as if they all still love each other. When old sparks reignite between Alex and Nell, the ladies become eager to play cupid and conspire to bring the couple together. Along the way, the divas also discover that the love between them all is still very strong too. 80's pop star Tiffany will do a title song for the movie which arrives December 2nd!
