NAUTILUS EPIC SERIES
FINDS HOME OVER AT AMC
Although it was already shot when Disney decided to cancel it, Jules Verne inspired epic series NAUTILUS has found home at AMC where it will set sail next year. It follows Captain Nemo, an Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and family, a prisoner of the East India Mercantile Company and a man bent on revenge against the forces that have taken everything from him. Shazad Latif plays Nemo, the Indian Prince, who sets sail with his ragtag crew on board the awe-inspiring Nautilus, as he not only battles with his enemy, he also discovers a magical underwater world.
Why was it cancelled?
ReplyDeleteBecause they were cutting down their expenses massively, remember that thousands of workers also got fired at Disney. It was very strange given that rumour has it this one cost between one and two hundred million bucks.
DeleteOhhh so, it's money.
DeleteIndeed
DeletePlease don't be rubbish. I was so disappointed when Disney cancelled this... I hope they haven't screwed this up.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed, but the photo above does look cheap as hell, it will probably look like something BBC would make or like that trash Winter King currently on MGM.
DeleteI agree about the cheap as hell pic, but I’ll reserve judgement until we see a little more.
ReplyDeleteWe are waiting for a trailer
